Quistis Trepe

At the young age of 15, Quistis joined SeeD, her impressive fighting abilities quickly earned her a position at Balamb Garden as an instructor. Quistis is Squall's Instructor at Balamb Garden but if often looked down upon as a teacher cause of her young age. She is very popular amongst her students, so popular they have formed their own fan club for her called the "Trepies".

Limit Break

The blue magic system in Final Fantasy 8 is similar to those of other games but it works a little different in Final Fantasy 8. Blue magic involves learning enemy abilities, some of which are very powerful. Quistis learns Blue Magic by using special items that are obtained in various ways (Winning a battle etc). Once an item is used on Quistis, still will then learn that ability permanently.

Sonic waves rush around the field and hit all enemies: Learned from Spider Web

Electrocute
Bolts of Lighting rush around Quistis' body that strike an enemy dealing thunder damage: Learned from Coral Fragment

Casts death on random enemies: Learned from Curse Spike

Degenerator
Eliminates an enemy from battle: Learned from Black Hole

Aqua Breath
Quistis Fires a water wave at all enemies dealing water damage: Learned from Water Crystal

Micro Missiles
Quistis fires several missiles at an enemy that cuts its HP down depending on there level: Learned from Missle

Acid
Quistis hits an enemy with poison, dealing poison damage and sometimes causing the poison status effect: Learned from Mystery Fluid

Gatling Gun
Quistis fires a wave of bullets at enemy: Learned from Running Fire

Fire Breath
Quistis fires a wave of fire at all enemies dealing fire damage: Learned from Inferno Fang

Bad Breath
Inflicts just about every status effect in the book on all enemies: Learned from Marlboro Tentacle

White Wind
Restores the HP of all Party Members: Learned from Whisper

Homing Laser
Quistis fires a laser at an enemy: Learned from Laser Cannon

Mighty Guard
Quistis casts Shell and Protect on the party: Learned from Barrier

Ray Bomb
Quistis sweeps a laser across the battle field that blows all enemies into the air: Learned from Power Generator

Shockwave Pulsar (Grievers special attack)
Quistis sucks all enemies up into the sky and they are blasted with a gravitational ball of energy: Learned from Dark Matter
