Catching Calli, Rikku, and Chocobo Eater get you Episode Complete. Rin and Prophet only get you episode concluded. Check out THIS guide. I've used it to blame both Rikku and Rin, so I know it works. I'd advise you to blame Rikku so you can get the Ragnarok accessory (0 MP cost). Chocobo Eater and Calli don't get you anything besides the Episode Complete.
To get episode complete for the chocobo ranch, you need to defeat Anything Eater and find the Amazing Chocobo.

Kilika and Bikanel also have bold chocobos. I had better luck in the Thunder Plains, though. Just keep trying and you'll find some.
