<div align="center">Name - Fontaine
Age - 18
Gender - Male
Position - Water Priest/Warrior Monk
Weapon - Yari

Yari is the Japanese term for spear, or more specifically, the straight-headed spear. The martial art of wielding the yari is called sōjutsu or (somewhat incorrectly) yarijutsu. Yari measured anywhere from one meter to upwards of six meters (3.3 to 20 feet). The longer versions were called omi no yari while shorter ones were known as mochi- or tae yari. The longest versions were carried by foot troops (ashigaru), while the samurai usually carried the shorter versions.

Yari were characterized by a straight blade that could be anywhere from several centimeters long, to 0.9 meters (3 feet) or more. The blades were made of the same high-quality steel that the swords and arrow-heads of samurai weapons were forged with, and yari blades were very durable. Over history many variations of the straight yari blade were produced, often with protrusion on a central blade. Yari blades (points) had extremely long tangs which were usually longer than the sharpened portion of the blade. The tang protruded into a hollow portion of the handle. This resulted in a very stiff shaft and made it nearly impossible for the blade to fall or break off.
Fontaine's Yari has a sharp cresent moon blade at the top and has elemental water runes carved down the staff (as to summon water based magic). The Yari doubles as a martial arts weapon and also a magic wielder.

Strengths - Fontaine is skilled in martial arts and all water based elemental magic. This includes a wide range of magic, but particularly healing.

Weakness - Fontaine has elemental weaknesses, his magic is largely inneffectual against earth based elemental magic. Though not easily manipulated, Fontaine's forgiving nature can be taken advantage of.

Hair - Competely shaved except one long black plait from the back of his head.
Eyes - Brown
Attire - Wears a blend of traditional asian style clothes, made from soft silken fabric. Prodominately blue in colour, but also has other colours mixed within smaller sewing designs. This includes intricately layered jackets, wide drooping sleeves and nimble foot hugging shoes.
Other - Fontaine's arms and chest are tattooed with elemental imagery. Amongst the swirling water design are Carps, turtles, and sea serpents. Over his heart is the image of hands cupping water. However, this is completely covered by his clothes.

History - Fontaine was taken to the Apjala Water Temple from an orphange just after his mother died in child birth. He has lived there his entire life and known no different reality. There are many roles within the Apjala, but Fontaine chose to train himself in healing and martial arts in particular, as well as his normal priesthood activities.
Personality - Fontaine is a calm, honest, well spoken man, who finds communicating with others to be a joy. He is in control of his emotions and is considered wise for his age by many. </div>[/b]
