I feel like boasting for a bit till someone reminds me who beat us on Saturday B)

We beat the Champions Chelsea 2-1. And we were the better team over the 90 minutes . Viduka had the biggest impact on the game, Yeah i'm talking about Mark Viduka the player who won't play if he's just had a haircut. :P Downing looked impressive and Yakubu just looked distant the full game, Although Chelseas back line was in shatters last nights, Carvalho left Pogatetz completely unmarked for the full game, Ferreira looked in his own world making a world of mistakes even Cudicini was bad.

Although Schwarzer had the game of his life. Fantastic saves from Lampard, Shevchenko, Essien and Drogba. He even managed to get a hand on Shevchenko's shot which took a wicked deflection though sadly still trickled in.

So, Good news for the Aussies.

@Jewell, Klaas Jan Huntelaar didn't he play for Herenveen? I don't know what happened to him, 2 seasons ago, He was playing for Herenveen now he's playing for Ajax and he's in the Dutch national side and scoring within 7 mintues of his debut, I'd love the see him playing premiership football, Even if it is for Newcastle. Though i must say Ameobi is proving to be a quite good player he scored a few goals in pre-season and looked promising against Wigan.

Last night again Referees made some pretty terrible decisions, Poor Reading defender Sonko fell over and was Red Carded although seconds before that he had barged the Villa player, Andy Todd blatantly knocked Andy Johnson over and recieved nothing, Video evidence saved him last time, But not this time. Then Ben Thatcher commiting what can only really be described as one of the worst challenges in premiership history. Hopefully Mendes will recover but it looked as though Thatcher knocked him clean out on the pitch and from the reaction of the Portsmouth player and medical staff. He probaly has a broken or dislocated jaw and a broken cheekbone.
