Name: Lezaan
Race: Appears human, but often seems something more.
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown, but ancient.

Eyes: A deep, dark purple, the eyes seem to have an unnatural depth to them, almost like one was looking into a bottomless pit.
Height/Weight/Build: No one is sure of Lezaan's true physique, as his power to manipulate space and time often warps ones perception of him.
Hair: White and long with age, it reaches nearly to his back. He often wears it in a pony tail. Despite his age, the hair has not thinned, it is still as thich and strong as most men's hair in thier youth.
Beard/Moustache: Same as the Hair. The beard extendy to about mid-chest and the moustache to about 3/4 of the beard's length. (picture the Emperor from Mulan)

Attire: Lezaan wears deep purple robes that drag the ground just slightly. Owing to his manipulation of matter, however, the robes' length is never an incovenience in battle.

Weapon: Staff- An ornately carved Ebony staff with intricate designs inlaid with ivory. At the to is set a large, deep amethyst. The staff just below the stone branches out and twists up along the outside of the amethyst, splaying out about 2/3 of the way up so that the gem's top rises above the staff. The effect is that of stone sinking into a swirling black mass.

Not a weapon primarily, Lezaan is able to channel his power through the staff, owing to the magical power embued in the amethyst. This allows him to use his power to a greater extent without risk. Without the focus of the staff, Lezzan's powers become more erractic, and more dangerous. If uses too much power while not using the staff, he could disrupt the flow of the space-time continuum so much that the continuum would collapse around him, causing everything in a large are of space around him to cease to exist, even so far as entire galaxies. The ripples caused by this would have effects throughout out the universe, some devestating.

However, Lezaan can wield the staff as a weapon, and should he choose to fight physically, his power over space and time give him a unique advantage. Weapons seem to veer or glance off from him when they were perfectly aimed. Terrain always seems to work against his opponants. Lezaan can be anywhere at any time All of this and more make him an unpredictable opponant and very difficult to defend oneself against.

Lezaan's overall appearance and presence are reminiscent of a wizard.

Powers: In case you hadn't guessed, Lezaan can manipulate space and time. Although he has this power naturally, the power imbued within the amethyst in his staff allows his to do so to a much greater degree with much better control. His abilities allow him to do many things, from levetating thigs, to changing the speed of time around him to his advantage, manipulating the terrain to his advantage, alter the distance between himself and a point, collapse space around an enemy and reduce him to a point mass, open rifts in the space-time continuum, and even travel through time. However, this last power, Lezaan does not use, due to it's dire consequences. The extent of Lezaan's powers are too many and varied to list here in detail, but the sky seems to be the limit (which with his powers, could literally be at your fingertips.

Weaknesses: Though not neccessarily a weakness, Lezaan's powers are dangerous to use to thier fullest extent. To use too much power would be to risk destroying existance itself, and himself along with it. However his true weakness is also his strength, the staff. If Lezaan somehow loses possesion of the staff, he becomes unable to control his power, and to use it to any great degree could have dire consequences. Even worse, if the staff should fall into the hands of another, they would gain control of space time, albiet to a limited degree, so long as the held it. This makes recovering the staff quite an ordeal.

Temperament: Lezaan is a being of good. He is wise and does all he an to better the lives of good people. However, he is reserved when it comes to his personal affairs and history. He does not open himself to others on a personal level, and will refuse to give anyhing but cryptic information when asked. Lezaan is calm in most situations, never showing fear, worry, or even effort. He is a mysterious figure, who gives off an air of unfathomable power and wisdom.

History: Lezaan's past is shrouded in mystery. He does not speak of it to anyone. It is known that he has been around for ages. Thousands, perhaps millions of years. Some say he was never young, and began existance exactly as he is now. The staff, it is said, was a divine gift, as the powers that be, whomever they be, recognized the danger of Lezaan's powers and granted him the power to control them. This is all speculation, however, and when asked about any of this, he will not respon, at least not to the questioner's liking. However, there are few now who would even know to ask such things, as Lezaan has passed out of history, knowledge, thought, and legend for almost 200 years.

At one time, rumors of Lezaan's presence had been heard far and wide, giving council to wise monarchs and leaders, assisting in great battles that threatened to wipe aout all that was good, even comming to the aid without consequence or fame, who were soon to meet a fate they did not deserve.

However, after the fall of Symphony City to an eternity of rain, a fate that Lezaan was unable to prevent, despite his warnings to it's citizens, Lezaan vanished from the world, never to bee seen again.

Until recently, when a group of strangers stumbled upon the ruined city...
