I'll agree with you on the time it takes to get ultimate weapons being a little much. Also, there is no good way of gaining money that I've found. The mimic's in the omega ruins combined with Rikku's ultimate will only yield 100k gil! And unless i'm wrong, thats the most you can obtain in a single fight. bah. But, were not discusing that...weapons...yes...
I don't like the time it takes to get the final weapons. I actually have one file in which I have them all and it's also the only file of mine that I'll beat the game with. Any other time I start a file I always stop just before the final fight. At that point....there is no point as far as i'm concerned. YOU CAN'T LOSE!!!! But i've rambled on about that before...
The reason I never litterally 'beat' the game with any other file is that beating yu yevon without being able to break the dmg limit gets really tedious. I've done it, but it's just a pain.
