Well, my view on this is somewhat biased as I'm currently planning to meet someone I met on a forum later this year haha.
Before I started talking to her, I was very anti-internet dating. It just seemed like a bad idea to me; it's so easy to be something or someone you aren't when you're online, and I never thought I'd be foolish enough to even consider it. Chances are I'll end up heart-broken, but I've made my decision to pursue it with that taken into account. But the way I see it I could end up hurt from any relationship, and I'm silly enough to be in love. What do I have to lose?
