My favorite FF character hm...
Squall Leonheart from Final Fantasy VIII. He is one of the nicest heroes and video game characters I have ever seen. In the whole game you could see him to change his character and beliefs step by step. From an unsocial, loner guy, he transformed into a true friend, someone who needs the company of others and someone who can finally love and be loved. The other reasons is because he is cool and he can use the Gunbalde.
Then it's Auron. Auron... a former monk, a former guardian and mysterious man who surprises us till the end. A real gentleman, who keeps his promises, a wise friend, whose words are full of deep meaning and a fierce warrior. He is totally cool, he takes his time and yes, he too can be controlled by his human feelings.
Finally I shall pick one from Final Fantasy 6 and this one is Shadow. The game reveals his story in a clever way and the combination of an assasin and a ninja is always unbeatable. If he was a pirate too I don't know if Squall would still be claiming the first place.
