Dude, dont even joke about that!
Personally I think this is going to be a step back for England, whilst Allardyce, Pearce and Curbishley amongst other are perfectly competant managers whoever gets job is going to be thrown in at the deep end, unless we go for another foreigner (Scolari anyone?).

i think the foreigner Scolari will get it, he seems the most viable choice, the other just don't seem up to coaching England.
Scolari would introduce some Brazil stuff that might spice up Englands gameplay.

I agree that Ericsson's depature screws things up a bit. There's only really one English guy who could easily take over the side and that is McClaren, but there is no way he will get the job after such a disasterous season with Middlesborough. All the other candidates lack experience at the top level in football too, but I still think the FA are going to be wary of appointing another foreign manager.

Please for the sake of England don't appoint Steve Mclaren as england manager...Well we could get rid of Mclaren and Middlesbrough may actually be good
but England will never ever win agian.....Well they hardly do anyway...
Its reported Hiddink has "Expressed Intrest"! Look the FA are obsessed with Aussies too :P
Is the leader of the FA gay with aussie men? becuase im wondering if thats the reason that Mark Scwarzer still in the country xD

Well i don't know about Hiddinks sexuality but i sure don't want him going to England.
What about the wigan coach, wouldn't he be considered as he has taken wigan a long way in the epl as most expected wigan to get relegated.

There are lots of good candidates, but knowing the FA. They will pick someone completely random.

Well in my aus paper they were saying there are 4 candidates.
Mclaren
Hiddink
Allydyrce(Bolton Coach)
and i forgot the 4th englishman
I don't think allydyrce can take england, his style is not good enough to win.
Hiddink, well he took South Korea to the semi finals i think so he might get it, but he works wonders as he plays youths and gets everything working right.
The others i'm not to sure about, but hopefully they are smart and not pick someone random (like Wenger or Sir Fergurson).

Hiddink would have to leave Australia and possibly PSV if he wanted the England job. I am not sure the English public would be satisfied with him doing the job part-time.
Curbishley and Pearce are probably the two Englishmen not mentioned that are in-line for the job Gemini, aside from the ones mentioned.

I certainly would like to see nd english man taking the job, i know there has been mention of foreigners coming in, personally they cant have the same passion as an english man.

Very true, and I think Sven has shown that. Fair enough, he is a very docile manager anyway, but people often have become angry with is lack of passion. If we were losing 1-0 to anyone, you can imagine Stuart Pearce going ape, literally.

Yeah, i must admit that is what they lack atm compared to other coaches of world cup teams.
Passion really makes a difference.

On that note i dont want to see steve mclaren manager, he is an extremely boring manager. So is Sven, lets bring the excitemnt back and play some attacking football.

The Euro 2008 qualifying draw was made today. We should breeze through it. The toughest teams in our group are Russia and Croatia.

Well, there were a few upsets in the Cup today, with the biggest probably being Sunderland.
Before the game Martin Allen said he didn't think Mick was under and real pressure, and ironically Brentford then beat Sunderland. Fair enough, Sunderland suck in the Premiership, but losing to Brentford has to hurt.
