Ugh, more Man U scum polluting this thread! :P
I love the Italian league, a lot of people think it is boring cos its a much more technical league than the Premiership or La Liga but its great, especially all the financial shenanigans going on.
Golazzo!

Another Newcastle fan posting here which is good news.
I follow the Italian League. The balance between the big sides is much more even than it is in England and Spain which makes it alot more interesting in my opinion. Alot of the clubs also seem to have nutcases as their chairman which doesn't help the finances as Fenix pointed out.

Is there a way of sorting out each league.
Example
Epl - Fast Paced
Serie A - Technical
i have always wondered the differences of each league.

Not really, but each league has always had various stereotypes:
Italy - The land of boring, defensive football.
England - No technique, no skill. Just long-ball merchants.
Spain - Skillful and tactical but very slow-paced.

You need to add face-paced to England. Most foreign players generally can't keep up with the pace of the game played in this country.
The Italian league is nothing compared to what it used to be. It's basically just a mockery of the sport now, because of all the financial troubles, coupled with the serious disciplinary problems. It's basically a league between Juve, Milan and Inter + Anyone who has some decent homegrown talent.

Yeah, usually when I try to show friends that soccer isn't boring, I show them a game in Italy. Big mistake, even though it's my favorite kind of play to keep the ball on the ground and trying to keep more possesion of the ball. Though the problem that makes it boring to me, is (especially when im watchinf my fav. team AC Milan) when they pass to much to the point where they have the greatest chance of scoring but decide to pass to make an easier goal but you can blatantly see you could of made the goal yourself.
Though English ball is the most watched league around the world with Spanish and French right behind it (im pretty sure). The only problem with French ball is that there is only really one good team and then you have a bunch of ok teams. The best team being Lyon and maybe Monaco or Paris SG.
Anyway, the best thing about watching the Serie A league is when they make a goal, it's really exciting. You watch alot of pass and movement, it's like watching the whole puzzle come together only to see Shevchenko or Toni give an awsome finish.
ManU scum or not, Van Nistelroy is one of the top 10 strikers in the world right now.

No one's mentioned the physical aspect of the EPL which I dont think any of the other major European leagues have.

Yeah i have seen so many awesome one touch goals by Ac Milan, flicks and backheels etc.
Ruud is the best finisher in the 6 yard box, he rarely misses. Thats a fact.
Best striker at the moment would be Eto'o. Pretty sure no one can top his form at the moment.

I was glad to see Tim Howard come on at half time and put in a solid performance between the sticks.

^Me too. Good goals for Ronaldo too, thats 4 in a week for him.
Good win for Boro too!
Looking foward to United v Liverpool next weekend in the FA Cup, thats going to be a close one but I think we can edge it, because we're in much better goal-scoring form than Liverpool lately.

Liverpool don't have any goal-scoring form because they can never decide which striker to field.

Liverpool's strikers are struggling with form no question.
But Gerrard will dominate the midfield i would think.
Who do you guys/girls think will win out of Barcelona Vs Chelsea?
They both have recently got beat so both teams will be wanting to pick up there form.

All the people here I've spoken to about the match, including a Chelsea fan say Barca will win. I havent seen them this season, but i'd say Chelsea still havent struck their best form, and it's going to be difficult for them, maybe more so than last year.
Arsenal vs Real will be interesting, I would've thought Real will get that one.

I also say Real should win, I feel like the Arsenal team is just falling apart, and it seems more on a mental notion not physical form.
Inter V.S. Juventus...
Juve won 2-1, but Inter got ripped. Adriano got fouled and was given a free kick though the referee did not say inderect or direct, Juve was given a yellow card, so anyone could assume it would be a direct kick. So Adriano blasts it and it goes in only for the referee to sya it was a inderect kick and he had to pass it first, so no goal. In addition to this, I believe it should have been direct regardless since it was given from a yellow card. In all fairness though, Inter had WAY more chances and should have won only for Ibrahomovic to put in a one touch goal froma cross from Camorenesi that should have been stopped, then a free kick going in for Del Piero.
Though I am happy, my AC Milan won, and Inzaghi put on a hell of a game with a hat-trick.

I know a while ago I tipped Arsenal to beat Real but I'm going to have to change that. Arsenal seem to be in absolute dissarray whilst Real are coming into some good form.

^ More like robinho is hitting his form finally and arsenal , i wonder what the odds of them to win are.
Henry is the only man who can do any damage.

I dont think this is true at all. True they have an inexperienced defensive line atm, but the fact of the matter is bad luck cost us the victory against Bolton at the weekend as we were all over them in the second half. It will be tough as always against Real and I'm not sure league form has any real effect on how one performs in Europe, but the fact Arsenal were able to rally in the way they did on Saturday is encouraging.

Arsenal just have more injuries than you can throw a stick at. I can see them scoring a few goals against Real, but their defence will be undone.
As for Chelsea vs Barcelona, it's tough. Chelsea have just lost by a big margin, but I doubt it will effect them that much and Barca have lost 2 on the trot at the moment.
