The quality's not brilliant but I like how it's a more physical game, moreso than the premiership. Besides, we're guaranteed European football every year.

Yes, but the Scottish teams rarely ever accomplish anything in Europe, so that doesn't say much.

Not many Premiership clubs have either. Aresnal have a pretty poor track record when it comes to Europe, Newcastle never seem to do much, Man U are one of the few who look as if they'll reach the final stages every year, Chelsea are much better now but I hate mourinho so hopefully my voodoo'll stop them from winning anything, sorry any Blues, nothing personal.

Yeah but we've gone downhill pretty bad since then, last season was probably our best chance to really do something again but we blew it because we didn't have a decent keeper. Anyone want Douglas or Hedman? It's two for a pound.

Yes, that is true. However, English clubs usually have the potential to do much better. Although due to the lack of reputation involved with Scottish football, Celtic and Rangers do generally get tough draws. I think Celtic usually do well considering the odds that are stacked against them.

Plus, there's the problem of dinero, even teams like W.B.A. will be getting millions from Sky ( I wouldn't be sure of the exact figure ), whereas the Old Firm get something like less than half a million per season from Setanta, so it's not just the reputation ( Which I would argue is fairly good ) but the cash that stops us from getting the players to compete in Europe.

Well, if teams keep doing business like Rangers did with Boumsong, then they'll have all the money they need. :)
Jewell, I support Nottingham Forest....not a word. :P

Not if they buy crap players like Ferguson for 4.5M, or whatever it was, they won't. I don't get why he's Scotland's captain, Daily's a much better choice, but then again so are most of them.

Personally I'd have SPL over La Liga anytime. And yes, that is because of my biased against Beckham atitude from Man U... and last year's Euro... No, I don't want to bring up bad memories... But anyway, I'm a Red Girl: born and bred! By that I mean Man U because usually when i say that people assume I support Liverpool... Why?

Because they play in all-red, you just play in red shirts.......just a guess. And if I were you I'd be happy that I got 25M for a player like Beckham, you were able to buy better players with that sort of money.

Hopefully swedish football will improve. As it is now they loose as fast they go across the border and AIK lost badly this year in Allsvenskan they even slipped down a level. Fotball is no fun anymore

You could also say what's happened to Leeds or Not's Forest, teams come and go ( But not Celtic :P )Anyways, Chelsea vs. Barca tonight, what's the prediction, I reckon Barca might just edge it but if they do it won't be by much.

Even as a United fan, i want to see Chelsea win tonight. I hate cockiness in football, and the Barca players have been so condescending and cocky in the run up to this match that i hope Chelsea thrash them tonight. I think they can too :)
And i honestly think United can win tonight, i think we can beat Milan.
