They are on reputation, not really ability anymore.

To be honest, if you were Hargreaves, from a club perspective there is no reason to move unless the offer is too good to turn down. He regularly wins things with Bayern Munich and they adore him there. They even chant his name during games.

Because of the stick he is getting at the moment though, Arsenal/Man Utd won't buy him.

(1007 posts now, sweet . I was saying to Gemini the other day how this has to be one of the most popular non-spam threads on the entire forum, it's a pretty amazing feat.)

It must get really boring at Bayern Munich. They always win the league but are no longer a genuine force in Europe. It's becoming like the Norwegian league.

It's not that bad, a couple of seasons ago Werder Bremen won the league and Werder and Hamburg ran Bayern quite close this year, they have got some great teams in the league still like them three and Leverkusen aren't too bad.

Hamburg and Werder are good teams but the only way they are going to challenge is if Bayern Munich take their eye off the ball. And another thing is Bayern will probably cherrypick all the good players in the German league like they usually do. I heard they were looking to sign Van Buyten (Hamburg) and Tim Borowski (Werder).

Maybe Bayern may do that but Magath is coming under pressure now from his players for doing that. I know Sagnol is getting annoyed about it because it's not helping them in Europe so they might stop it soon. Alos Hamburg and Werder have started making good reputations for themselves so even if they sell those players they can replace them. Hamburg have bought in alot of good players lately like Van Der Vaart and De Jong as well as the legend that is Thimothee Atouba :P

But like Jewell said Germans sides are a pushover in Europe now, They use to be a formidable force.

In fact the best performing German team in Europe this season was Schalke, They were beaten by Sevilla who then went on to Rape Middlesbrough and deny them thier first European trophy, God Damn them.

Although for people like Bayern winning German cups and Leagues is great, But winning the Champions league is better. ;)

They should think about buying players on a global scale. Not just the ones in the German league.

Thats what the players are saying Exeter and thats why everyone is getting annoyed. They need to be buying players with the quality of Adriano (who I've heard them being linked with) rather than players with the quality of say....Podolski who is very overrated in my opinion (although I'll have a better opinion of him after the World Cup).

If they left the German clubs alone, and started buying from outside it would benefit the whole league as then the German clubs could keep hold of their best players and also build upon that.

Your talking about Adriano the Brazilian i assume, i thought he came out and said he is staying with Inter and isn't going anywhere.

Or has something else developed that i don't know about?

Bayern and Chelsea are so alike, Bayern buy all the players capable of stopping their league chances..Whereas Chelsea buy anyone who could score against them. :P

Podolski's not bad. But he is overrated.

recently i just found out, Jurgen Klinnsman is actually managing Germany from his home in New York.. Then i understood why German fans were angry with him.

Personally, I feel Germany could have a good chance of winning The world Cup. Also, If Germany win thier group and England finish second, England will play Germany in the second round. I'd love to see that game. ^_^

I wouldnt! Although I would have full confidence that we would win.

I don't think Germany are a very good team at all and in my world cup predictions they are going out in the second round to Sweden after Sweden finish second in Group B to England.

You can remind me of that fact over and over again, it still won't change the fact that I think we will get the better of them this time.

Leave Crouch alone, he's great, especially his celebrations, robotic Crouch is amazing.

Zlatan isn't anything to worry about, he's very very overrated.

Zlatan is far from over rated. That guy knocks 20 goals a season for Juventus and has even jumped above Trezeguet in pecking order.

Peter Crouch isn't bad..but he's far from good. Also robotic Crouch made me physically ill. :P ^_^

More like 10 goals in 42 games compared to Trezeguet's 29 in 41!

Zlatan is a very poor player for Juventus, he was the worse player on the pitch in both legs against Arsenal in the Champions League.

Oh and Del Piero got 15 goals in 20 starts as well...

And the point of your posts are what exactly?

And just as I finish typing this, they get removed

His intentions were to spam. That's just plain sad.

Anyhow, Zlatan is dangerous most of the time. Also with Rio Ferdinand in our back line. Instead of Sol Campell..Zlatan should have no chance breaking through.
