5 goals in 3 games. It's not a stat you expect to hear about Crouch.

Theo Walcott looks younger than me.
Peter Crouch is self explanatory. :P
Wayne Rooney Is shrek.
Jermain Defoe has that gap in his teeth.
Michael Owen is a midget.
There's nothing wrong with our strikers. No.118. :P
Lol, Crouchs robot dance is to die for. I wanted him to score to see that ridiculous dance. ^_^

First England player to manage that (except for possibly Rooney, I'm not sure exactly when he turned 20) which is rather depressing.
Hmm... seems I locked this by accident. Easily fixed. Was this always pinned, or did I mess that up as well?

Lol, Must be a shame. No.118 your sat here discussing football on a internet forum. While he's out there making £10,000 a week playing football. ^_^

Ah, I'm only 14 and I'm not bad at football. I've still got time to get snapped up by Wrexham or Nott's Forest. ^_^

I am deeply offended by you putting Wrexham and Forest in the same category. *smites*.

I'm sure Wrexham will appreciate you being offended on their behalf.
I can't wait for the Cup to start now. I think Paraguay should be an easy start for England.
Also, I was thinking of making an amendment to the format of the World Cup comp. Basically, I toying with the idea of ditching the quiz rounds. The main reason for doing this is because it will allow me to enter (and I desperately want to take part) if it was purely prediction based. Of course I will be adding extra matches to make predictions on as the tournament progresses.
What do you guys think? I'll carry on as it is if you want.
So it looks like the comp will be between myself (if the change goes ahead), Squire, Marklar, Exeter , Dark Angel Murderer, Gemini and Veridian.
Of course suggestions on how to improve the format are welcome.

Didn't Mike want to participate in the comp aswell?
i remember him saying he was interested somewhere.
Either way i just want to say thanks for doing this comp, a lot of fun to be had and it is appreciated.

What I'm asking is would you guys mind if I scrapped the quiz section? Obviously as I'm running this thing I can't set the quiz questions and answer them as well... that just wouldn't be fair ;) .
Whereas if it was purely about predictions then I could enter and run it at the same time without any doubts about foulplay.

We could have some questions made for you? I'm sure Squire and Gemini would help me think of them. ^_^
That way you don't have to scrap the quiz round and you get to play. :)

How do you mean? (Can you elaborate further in the World Cup thread as I don't want this place to become purely about the competition.)

England don't have a good record of winning their opening game of a big tournament. Only 4 wins out of 18.
Though, Paraguay seem easy, I don't think we'll win. A draw perhaps...Our big game is going to be against T&T, Beating them and drawing with Sweden and Paraguay..Will put us into the second round. Possibly to face a tough game against Germany.
But...Won't that provide Viewers pleasure beating Germany in the second round. ;) I think we can do it. :)
PS, Jewell look under my sig, Thats what you get for offending me..I'm sure we can come to a compromise though, Then i will remove it. ^_^

I don't know where this illusion that Paraguay are easy has some from. They are one of the stronger South American teams. They are better than Uruguay and they almost caused us a scare.
The problem with Paraguay is that they will quite happily sit back and play out for a draw. They could catch us out when we try to press forward for a goal.
