It's true though, Henry plays better for Arsenal then for France.

This year most big teams have played dismally, Italy, France, Germany defense didn't look good. Also Brazil, Didn't do justice to the expectations, they had... Even England were outclassed by Paraguay for a good 30minute spell.

I think the team to beat in this tournament is Argentina

Yeah. That's what I said.

Also the Czech Republic looked pretty good. It will interesting to see how Spain do today, they have a tough one against Ukraine.

@Jewell i just read your post, :P Sorry for just repeating you. ^_^

I reckon it'll be a draw, Ukraine are always under estimited like most Eastern European countrys. <<Well, Thats a complete lie, Spain hammered Ukraine 4-0. Fantastic finish from Torres. That boy is grood :P

Still, Shevchenko looked average..

He didn't really get much service.

It looks like Manchester United are going to be signing Torres, so whatever faint hope Newcastle had of getting him seems to be over now. ):

England are back in action today. I'm expecting an easy win and hopefully a performance with some real substance.

I think today is the perfect opportunity to give Rooney a game.

Rooney is playing so let us see how he travels with his foot.

And If The Red Devils Get Torres, i will be pleased as the kid has a lot of football to be played.

Oh Yeah On A sidenote, Chelsea have prepared a 10.25 mil bid for Phillip Lahm Of Germany. It seems the buying of success won't be stopping anytime soon.

England 3-0

Personally, with an England game, why would you predict anything other than either 1-0 (to England) or 2-1 (to their opposition)? It is always obligatory for England's first goal to be scored within about 10-15 minutes of kick off, and if their opposition scores it's usually either just before or after half time, or in the closing minutes. Injury time is also a favorite.

Still, we should win. I guess if we score one, after that Trinidad will be forced to be a bit more agressive, and we might be able to score a couple more I guess. Maybe even get one in the second half for a change... I think we should be reasonably comfortable, but I'm not expecting a high scoreline.

The Main Difference is that Chelsea pay double the worth of the players. Man U payed the right price.

Also, Most of Man Utd's transfers played well at Man Utd £19million Ruud. Chelsea's are the opposite...

£24Million Drogba, £35Million Shevchenko.

^^^^ Difficult to make sense of that. ;)

Svens really beggining to scare me, Replacing Owen with Rooney probaly wasn't clever. ^_^

England didn't look all there, Really bad long balls, No imagination when playing. It was just 90mins of me waiting for something to happen...

Soryr for last post :P ***Gerard got a good goal he knocked it in with his first touch*** <_ That betta.

We never played well but atleast we got the 3 points, Plus many people wanted Rooney on for Owen, think of it like this.... if Rooney never came on for Owen then we might not of got them 2 goals..

Rooney and Owen sound and is much more deadlier then Rooney and Crouch.

Crouch in my oppinion is a huge spud, He can't doing anything spectacuarly, He's not even that good at headering. I'd prefer Owen Hargreaves in my squad then Crouch. :P
