^i don't think lyon are potential winners of the cup,but i still expect them to overcome phillips after drawing 1-1.
man.utd.lost to norwich.i really laughed long and hard at that one.lets just hope they play as badly in the cup semi-final.

Well nobody thought it would be Porto vs. Monaco last season so it's a possibility. The one score I was surprised at was Villareal losing at home to Alkmaar. They're in the Champion's League places in La Liga and those were the first goals they've lost at home in Europe all season.

Oh Dear, i was ashamed when i heard Man U Lost to Norwich, but they obviously they are resting thier main players for the clash with Newcastle as they don't care for the premiership no more.

i was surprised at that as well, but i have a feeling they'll still come through against alkmaar.i'm praying for an alkmaar win as i think it they will be an easier test for newcastle in the next round than villareal.newcastle will definetely beat sporting.

Tch, hindsight's a terrible thing isn't it. Although I'll be the first to admit I didn't think they'd beat you 4-1, maybe 2-0 or something.

Poor Newcastle, they were never in it in the fa.cup. Would of been a better class match if you had your full midfield playing, like dyer, bowyer etc.
Newcastle really did play bad, passes wern't hitting there targets and were playing defensive all game.

^we TRIED to play a defensive game, but without much success.it was an abject performance by us.
robert was a disgrace, souness is a disgrace, they were all a disgrace.i just don't know how many more dissappointments i can take with newcastle.
here's hoping arsenal give man.utd. a good thrashing in the final.

futbol is boring...football is fun. Except in Futbol when someone flies 10 feet in the air trying to kick the ball and then hits the ground with maximum force. haha I guess futbol isn't so bad. Go Peru! I mean Manchester United!

Getting beat by Everton must've been a bit of a shock. Man U. are on a pretty big slide by the looks of things.

even if we do enter the intertoto cup,it doesn't necessarily mean we'll qualify.remember the last time we entered?we got knocked by a bunch of french no-hopers called Troyes.

middlesbrough won't beat us,their record at st.james park is terrible.
as for the intertoto cup, anybody can qualify.all they have to do apply to uefa.once they win the intertoto,it means they get an automatic spot for the uefa cup.

^hartlepool could apply but i think uefa will probably reject it.lol
actually from what i understand, only two places will be available in the inertoto cup for english teams.one of them will be taken up by newcastle while the other will go to the team who finishes in seventh place in the league.
