Come here to talk about all footballing issues that are current and relevant.

So what are everyones thoughts before the FA Cup games tomorrow?

I'm hoping that Forest pull off an upset at Spurs (obviously) and I'm also hoping that Burnley can spring a result too. As for Chelsea, hmm. I'm not sure if Newcastle will be able to beat Chelsea's second string so it'll be an interesting match.

Who saw the Arsenal game? We were total filth! Disgusting tackle from Fabregas, childish slapping from Reyes (not a good idea to be the only player wearing gloves when you do stuff like that, Jose!) and a needless overreaction from Bergkamp even though Cullip clearly deliberately stamped on van Resie's head.

Arsenal just showed their true qualities. :)

Anyway, I'm glad that Forest were able to force a draw out of Tottenham today. Hopefully we'll be able to produce something special when they meet at the City Ground.

Didnt see the match, but its unlike Boro to give away the lead.
Good result for us (United) against Everton.
That was a pretty bad handball yesterday too, he didnt even make an attempt to move them. I'd doubt Sheffiled cause you much trouble in the replay IF Wenger picks a strong side. Not sure Bergkamp shud have been sent off, but an arsenal deserved to have someone sent off.
Champions League this week.
Predictions?

I'm an Everton fan and I went to the match and I have to say the Man U supporters said we would be terrible the first thing the do at the match is chant Rooney to wind us up then complain when we abuse him and that coin that hit Caroll was one person out of 35000 with one cracking shot.

Vivigiles, more things were thrown onto the pitch than a single coin. The Everton Sponsors are even being threatened with legal action over a "conflict" with Rooney before the game.

Anyway, Middlesboro' in the UEFA Cup? Well, I think they did well to get the result they did and although Mark Schwarzer gifted them a goal, he also kept them in the game.

Champions League...

Well, now that Shevchnenko is out for the Man Utd. game I think Man Utd have to be the slight favourites. I really hope Arsenal lose, just to spite Wenger. The only reason he put out his reserves against Sheffield United is because of the Bayern Munich match so I hope he gets taught a lesson and Bayern come out strong.

I really hope Everton do better than fifth but selling Gravesen to Real Madrid hit the team hard we havent played well since christmas but hopefully Yobo will get used to taking Gravesens place and we can get back on form because I must admit Everton played c**p against Man U who Bent missed that 6 yarder I dont know

Well the way things are going Aresnal might drop below you. :) Being a Celtic fan I'm suitably miffed, team plays like amateurs and get's beat by a team who don't even deserve to be called amateur.

newcastle beat chelsea, which was a great result for us.but i wasn't happy with the way we were celebrating at the end, acting as though we had just won the treble or something.it just shows how far we have fallen when we go wild after beating chelsea's second string.
i think we'll win the uefa cup.hope arsenal get done by bayern.likewise manchester united.

Chel only played there 2nd string up to half-time, then brought there big names back on, and still couldnt win, alot of injuries are upon them and it might be the start of a downhill road for chelsea.

I think Arsenal can definitely turn it around in time for tomorrow night against Bayern, but they really do not have a good record in Europe, so we'll see.
And Shevchenko being injured isnt gonna do Milan any favours when they play us on wednesday. That will be the tie of the round i reckon.
Well, i dont wanna sound like a cocky United supporter, but i could see Chelsea slipping up at one point. I dont think they'll throw everything away, but watch the Barca match; shud be interesting to see how they respond.

chelsea won't lose against barca,i think it will be a draw.barca are probably going to go all out for a nil-nil draw.

and what a shame shevchenko is injured,my favourite player.at least he'll probably be back for the second leg.

Yeh, shev is one of my favourites players next to Raul, just love the way both of them play. Should be a good game , barca imo have a slight advantage and if ronaldinho is on his game, he will cause some damage.

i dunno, it hardly seems like Barca's mentality to go for a draw. They will know Chelsea are weak after the Newcastle match, they will go for an away goal.
Spanish wise, i know Madrid are slightly off Barca's pace. But screw the Madrid fans who started the racist chanting. Imagine how Beckham, Owen and Woodgate feel after actually playing for that team. There was absolutely no need for it in any circumstance, and Fifa in my view did sweet F.A.

isn't the first match at the nou camp?

and i have it from a good source that barca will try to obtain a 0-0 draw and then hope to put chelsea under pressure by scoring an away goal in the second leg.

Sorry, thought the first match was at Stamford Bridge. If Chelsea are away, then yeah, i can see a 0-0 draw. From Arsenal's POV, they've gotta do something drastic on Tuesday. They didnt play to badly, but they were causing their own problems on Saturday. But i think they'll do ok against Bayern.
What about Liverpool? They've got the easiest tie out of the 4 English Teams, but they're the weakest of the 4 teams.

I can't really see Arsenal getting a result away to Bayern Munich. Just as I can't see Liverpool vaguely attempting a good result against Leverkusen.

In all honesty, I think Manchester United have the best chance of going through to the next phase and even thats slim.

Ok, analysis of the last two days of football.
Liverpool: great result, bad away goal conceeded, but solid start to their tie.
Arsenal: Bad defending, but a deserved consolation. Unlucky not to come away with more.
Chelsea: Went to pieces from what i heard, but i thought they'd win this.
Man U: Seriously, we just dont have a competent keeper anymore. Disappointing result for us, especially since Shevckenko will be back for the away leg. Must do better.

Not a great night. You can tell things went a bit iffy if Liverpool, the team with the lowest expectations get the best result.
