Further Details</div>
Personality:
From the old Leon Hart that was the legendary knight of Reodon, he’s changed personality wise drastically. This has all originated from spending a lifetime imprisoned inside of a crystal ball. The old cheery and go-happy Leon has faded as he slowly lost his mentality inside of the crystal ball of Twilight Gray. That part of him remains inside of the crystal ball, but the unleashed physical version of Leon is a lot darker. However, he’s not evil.
In the past, he used to be the person to stand and joke around with anybody and everybody and was generally a nice person to be around. Now, he’s a very quiet and contained person, not revealing much about himself to everyone. He’s a lot more afraid to let people get close to him, he won’t try and frighten people away, but he’s quite reluctant to actually let them know so much about him. His old helpful self has faded slightly, if you asked him to do something for you, he’d probably reject, not willing to risk that person find out anything about him, or he’ll do you the favour and vanish quite quickly after doing whatever task he’s been requested to do so. He doesn’t laugh like he used to, his sense of humour has faded with his personality. If there’s something around him that’s supposed to be funny, he’ll probably just look away from it and make no comment. He’s a very depressed person, he lost what he used to be in the crystal ball, and Twilight probably saved it all from faded by finding a way to free him.
However, one thing that hasn’t changed is that he is well-aware of the fact that although his personality has darkened, his abilities and his natural strength haven’t. However, the days of using it to help anyone who’s helpless have gone by, he rarely uses them to help needy people unless he has a seriously good reason to do so. He typically fights simply to protect himself and will not hold back to sort out an opponent. Despite the fact that he had been out of one-on-one battling practice for centuries, he’s still well aware of how his abilities work, they’ve been the only things he’s been thinking about and practicing using inside the crystal ball. He spent his time keeping his abilities up to top notch by using them to attempt to escape from the spell that trapped him inside the ball.
He takes his job with the utmost seriousness, you’ll find out what his job is lower down on the character. He likes to make sure that everything is done to perfection, if he slacks at something; he feels that he escaped from the crystal ball without purpose, and punishes himself with severe cruelty. He’s been known to starve himself for days until Twilight finally forces him to snap out of being miserable and get on with life.
In terms of affection, what affection he used to show to people in the past has diminished. He cares for practically no-one, the most emotion he’d show to someone would be respect. Would it be possible for him to actually learn how to care for someone again, it’s unlikely, but maybe possible. Women no longer bother him like they used to, he used to have a weak spot for them, but now they mean as much to him as anyone else. He rarely takes advice from anyone outside of Twilight, but he barely listens to anything that Twilight actually tells him, so it’s all in vain anyway.
Talents:
His greatest talent, something that he’s always been known for doing, is the ability to communicate with animals without difficulty. Due to his ability that allows him to transform into an animal, he understands the talk of animals, and that also gives him the natural hearing of an animal, he can pick up on conversations that creatures are having a good few miles away. He can understand most animal behaviour from this as well, interpreting how they act and translating it into something he can understand. This is a useful ability for his job, and it’ll be explained why in the next section.
His other main talent is the fact that he is an amazing athlete. Just like the old Leon, he’s capable of travelling for days on end, moving from city to city, over any terrain without needing to stop. This has taken him years in the past to train up his stamina, but it’s paid off, he is the ultimate fighter, he can go for hours at his best before he starts to show signs of fatigue. He rarely tires at all.
Occupation:
His occupation in the past, he used to be a knight for the region of Reodon, committing himself to the very whim of Lord Reodon, working abroad on the highest risk missions, putting himself at great danger in order to protect his town, not at all bothered about pay, but instead for the love of the very country of Titusville that he loved to protect.
But now, it’s like a complete opposite. He’s an assassin, having gotten rid of some of his older abilities to make way for some new ones. A mercenary like assassin, working for whoever pays the most in terms of money. He simply signs the contract, and then he goes off to conduct his mission, no matter what it is, he’ll do it. Having lost the will to defend his country, he decided that such a job as this would be the best way to keep himself in top shape, due to the fact that he no longer wishes to fight for himself. He specializes in assassination; his abilities allow him to conduct such missions with absolute perfection, something that he is very proud of. However, that doesn’t mean that’s the only thing he can do. Espionage and infiltration are two other areas of which he is quite efficient in. He shows no emotion during his mission, as far as he’s concerned, he’s there to perform his mission and that’s that. As soon as he’s finished the mission, then he’ll collect his pay and move on, waiting for his next contractor to appear.
Dating Preference:
In the past, he’d fall for a female quite quickly, but now, he has extremely little interest in love. If he was, he would be straight as he always was, but since losing all signs of any emotion, he’s been unable to show love for anyone, it’s just not in his wishes to have a relationship at the moment. Having just been released from the crystal ball, he’s mentally unstable, going through a serious period of depression in his life, and any care shown towards him would most probably be wasted.

Weapons
LionHeart:
The sword that you can see in the picture under his appearance. The sword is seriously sharp, and incredibly durable, Leon’s been using the sword for his entire life. The sword has no special power apart from the fact that Leon can summon it to his grip whenever he wishes to and it’s out of his grip. Leon keeps this sword constantly as sharp as he can make it, and therefore it cuts through materials with ease if enough power is applied.
Shinobi Gear:
This kit is a small pouch that he wears around his waist. This pouch contains a well-organised set of ninja equipment, perfectly laid-out in sections so he can simply access any pieces of this kit. This kit contains kunai, tiny little daggers that are seriously sharp and can be thrown at pace, and they’re seriously difficult to notice when thrown, moving with serious silence. Shruiken are also included, throwing stars that are also seriously small in size, and the way they spin when thrown mean they can slice through a lot of things, or at least cause some heavy cosmetic damage. Smoke grenades, small balls that when they are thrown at the ground with force, they explode creating huge amounts of purple smoke, making it difficult for the opponent to see Leon. Wire, very thin wire that is almost invisible to the human eye, usually used for setting traps, or wrapping the opponent up at speed. Leon has two different types of wire, thick wire for tangling up the opponent, and thin wire that snaps easily, usually used for traps. The thick wire is about half a millimetre in width, and the thin wire is about a tenth of a millimetre. He also has exploding slips of paper, they act as stickers, sticking to anything, and when activated they will explode with severe force, blowing apart whatever they’re stuck to.
Armour
Leon doesn’t wear armour, he has his abilities to make up for that, and you’ll see why when I explain the two abilities.
Accessories
He used to use his ring as an accessory in battle, but over time, the ring lost its power, and he no longer uses it. However, with his defensive abilities, he doesn’t exactly miss its old ability and can get by without it. The only other pieces of equipment that he has are…
Gourd:
A large sack-like object that he carries on his back, but it always retains its form. This accessory has no other task, except to contain huge amounts of sand.
Umbrella:
A simple umbrella made of bamboo that is waterproof. It has no real special ability to it.

Abilities</div>
1. Animangus
His primary ability, the ability that allows him to shift into an animal at will. This isn’t so useful in a battle situation, but when he’s on a mission, he can use it to disguise himself from the person who he’s tracing. When under this, he can call for the aid from other animals to give him information on the people he’s following or to get them to help him get closer to them so he can carry out what he needs to carry out. The form he normally transforms into would be the form of a lion. When transforming into an animal he takes up its natural abilities, it’s speed, strengths, weaknesses and intelligence.
2. The Way of the Dragon
His option for fighting at close-quarters, he is quite amazing at martial arts. Not having mastered every type of martial art in the world, but being quite reliable at the majority of them, he can use them when he wishes to fight an opponent, or more than one opponent at a physical match and can move his body in ways that most people could only dream of being able to move it. Using his ability to manipulate his bones at will, he’s able to duck and dodge and bend his body in some really weird ways and twist his body around in circles. This makes him one of the ultimate warriors. He can do things that appear impossible to the average person, but in fact it is mainly simple illusion.
3. Toon World
The ultimate summon or extra opponent (of an animal or anything else form, excluding humans) defence. Leon was able to keep his skill for this technique up for the period of which he was out of battling, and is still able to use it with great skill. Toon World is a book of which if the opponent has any summons on the field of play, Leon can have the summon sucked into the book. The book contains cartoons inside of it, and any summon sucked into it will be transformed into a cartoon version of the original. The book cannot be destroyed, and will turn any toon into a cartoon version of its original. The summon will retain all of its original powers, but in terms of strength and power, it will be a slightly upgraded version of it. The old summon will be totally gone from battle, and the owner will have to fight against it as the summon will now be on Leon’s side. Basically, don’t use summons against him.
4. The Art of the Shinobi
This is a natural ninja ability, the ability to use his surroundings in whatever way necessary. The ability to use it to cover your surroundings, so you cannot be seen, heard, or sensed in any way. Leon can camouflage himself from sight by blending into the background with some ease, and with total silence so he can spy upon anything in the area. This also includes the ability to travel under the ground; he can quickly transfer his body underneath the ground, but still be perfectly aware of what’s going above the ground. He can do this so well that the opponent has no knowledge whatsoever as to the fact that he is below the surface of the ground. This ability allows him to move around areas completely undetected by anyone if he wishes to. However, nothing’s perfect, if you’re clever enough you could work out how to find out how to discover his true location.
5. Shikotsu Myaku – Corpse Bone Pathways
This is one of his defences, but it can also be used for offensive purposes. He uses his entire body to fight, literally. He can manipulate his bones in battle, growing them out of his body and also using them to protrude out, so he can use them for any purpose. He replaces these by simply growing new bones – whilst most people are limited to having around 200 bones, he has no limit to how many he has at one time. He can pull bones out of his body, such as his spine and compact the bone so it’s as hard as steel, and nearly impossible to break. The amount of bones he pulls out has no effect upon his body, he doesn’t weaken at all. Be wary when he starts to use variations of this ability, he’s been known to do so extraordinary things with this technique. Due to the fact that this ability is part of his body, it's not really possible to disable the ability, seeing as doing so would disable every single technique in his body, which is kind of against the rules seeing as it's not really fair to disable every ability your opponent has.
6. Scorpalix Flare
A new and improved version of the original move. Through practice, Leon has been able to make some changes to the attack, but it still follows the same original starting process. Leon just needs to see the opponent, not necessarily make eye contact, but sight and the move is ready to go and it can track the opponent for more than a couple of miles. He’ll make a cross-hair in the air with his sword, which will then begin to lock onto the opponent that he’s chosen. Once he does this, your best chance of avoiding this is to run like hell, because otherwise you’ll have no chance. From the centre of the cross, a huge beam of pure energy will fire out like a missile, aiming straight for the opponent, travelling at speeds of over 200 miles per hour. Using the cross-hair after the beam has been fired, Leon can control the beams movement up until it makes contact with whatever he wishes to, or it becomes out of the 2 miles range for him to control. This beam, due to its pace and power is capable of ripping through the majority of barriers and shields in its way with ease, and on contact with human skin, it’ll burn away the flesh that it makes contact with. If it hits a limb directly, it’s capable of taking it off cleanly. If the opponent is hit directly by the beam being within 200 metres of its original firing point, the beam has been known to kill.
7. Gaara of the Desert
His ultimate ability and probably his deadliest. This is the reason for the huge gourd on his back, and why it contains sand. He uses the sand to fight against his opponent, which is never-ending in terms of its flow and amount. If he runs out of sand in his gourd, he can summon more from the desert. He manipulates this sand by his will, he doesn’t even need to verbally command it, and it will simply act as he thinks about it moving. This is his secondary form of defence also; it’s extremely difficult to penetrate it when he forms it into a wall in front of him. He can use it to rush at the opponent and wrap itself around them, crushing them with its sheer force, which is extremely powerful, far more powerful than what you’d expect from sand. The sand moves at an incredibly high speed, faster than that of a human, but it can be avoided if you have good reactions and high dexterity. It has been known for Leon to spit sand out from his mouth, although he commonly refrains from doing so due to its disgusting taste. This ability has been sworn to protect him no matter what, it is impossible to prevent this ability from doing its job, therefore it cannot be disabled.
8. Gaara of the Desert - Extension 1: Sabaku Rou (Desert Prison)
This is the primary extension of the "Gaara of the Desert" ability. It's similar to the "Sabaku Kyuu" ability that comes within the main "Gaara of the Desert", but it's a lot stronger and can happen on a wider scale. Leon summons a mass amount of sand to then surround his opponent at any time during the battle, constrict around them and hold them in place, making any form of movement practically impossible. This move can then be followed up by the "Sabaku Taisou" technique.
9. Gaara of the Desert - Extension 2: Suna Shigure (Sand Shower)
This technique is part of the “Gaara of the Desert” ability, but it is in fact an ability that allows Leon to use the technique more effectively. Using this, Leon can summon sand to rain down in a shower, summoning as much as he wishes for whatever technique he wants to use afterwards. With this, he can then control the sand to form it into clumps to distract his opponent or to use to attack him. Beware, if sand starts to settle on the ground, he is more than capable of using that for other techniques.
10. Gaara of the Desert - Extension 3: Ryuusa Bakuryuu (Quicksand Waterfall Current)
This ability is one of his most deadly, and also goes by the name “Desert Avalanche”. The ability summons forth a huge amount of sand to use, and then the sand starts to form a gigantic wall in front of Leon. This wall then rises up and up and up until it reaches a good hundred metres high, and the technique then actually happens. This wall acts as a tsunami and it moves forward crashing towards the opponent like a tsunami would. However, the speed of such a thing is so fast that it’s extremely difficult to actually dodge it or run away from it, it spreads out almost a mile in its maximum reach and it’s a good 10 metres thick. Such an impact will kill people if it crashes onto them, and if it doesn’t then you’ll be trapped underneath it when it lands on top of you. This technique can then lead onto the Sabaku Taisou technique.
11. Gaara of the Desert - Extension 4: Sabaku Taisou (Desert Imperial Funeral)
This technique works like Leon's Sabaku SouSou technique, which he can use with the main "Gaara of the Desert" ability, but on a much larger scale. This technique commonly follows the Ryuusa Bakuryuu technique after the arena is flooded with sand from its attack. Leon controls the sand and causes it to constrict and harden around the opponent, causing their bones to be instantly crushed under its force, killing them.
12. Gaara of the Desert - Extension 5: Shukaku no Tate (Shield of Shukaku)
This is probably Leon's supreme ultimate defence. To stop a powerful incoming attack, Leon will summon a small scale form of the Shukaka demon out of sand. Using extremely solid minerals from underground and mixing those into his sand, Leon can then use that to form a powerful and strong defensive barrier that is extremely difficult to penetrate, even with a powerful attack

Background</div>
Leon Hart, born in Reodon, Titusville. Son of Bret and Marie Hart, Leon was brought up as the only child of the family, but unlike most single children, he wasn't spoilt rotten. He's had a rather extraordinary life.
When he was three, he witnessed his first battle, a tournament in Athoz of the best battlers around. After seeing the event, the atmosphere overwhelmed him, and he decided to devote himself to the cause of becoming the world best. Unlike the dreams of most young children, he kept at this aim, and by the age of 8, he had become efficient at martial arts, becoming one of the best children of his age group in Titusville. He continued to go and see events, and watch the knights contest to see who was worthy of various titles. He loved every minute of him, and at the age of 11, he received his first sword. He spent all of his time outside of education training himself to use the sword, his father training him up and spending hour upon hour sparring with his son, teaching him the way of the swordsman. He was able to alter his fighting skills around different opponents, something he proved on his 12th birthday when his chance finally came and he entered a tournament for Under-13's. It was purely for sword-skills and martial arts, his forte and he went far. In the final, he met someone who he considered his match. This person was pretty much equal to him in close-quarter-combat skills, but that didn't stop him. He went straight into the fight, looking constantly for ways around his opponent. He was doing well, until his opponent dodged one of Leon's attacks and sent a psychic blast into Leon's back, sending him flying. An instant disqualification of course, but that wasn't enough for Leon, who sprung to his feet, turned and took a step forward towards his foe and made two lines in the air, an 'x', mimicking a target as he went to strike forward with a killer stab. However, instead, his sword fell to the ground and out of his palm shot an almighty beam of energy that ripped through his opponents head. The Scorpalix Flare technique was born.
Shocked by what he had done, Bret realised that there was more to his son than he had first realised. There were signs of magic power, something that as becoming increasingly common with children, something that needed to be nurtured. He took his son to a mentor, whom had proclaimed that he could train people to use any form of magic skill. The mentor accepted and took him in. Within a week, Leon was capable of firing balls of energy at selected targets with accuracy (PowerBall technique). The mentor was impressed with this quick adaptation and began to move onto more advanced skills. He decided to focus on his student’s martial arts, something that he had seen to be a focus-point to Leon’s style of fighting. He would have to focus all skills around the martial arts, which then would unlock the key to the power within Leon. Soon, Leon was yet more advanced at fighting, his love for martial arts enabling him to bring out the best in himself. A famous victory was created as he won yet another tournament for martial arts before his 13th birthday, hypnotising a dazed opponent with illusions with his hands before then striking them down with a deadly kick (The Way of the Dragon technique). The mentor was proud, but at the same time worried about the power Leon was capable of. Leon wasn’t cocky with his power, but when it came to competing, he didn’t hide it. Quite soon, he was capable of much more through training and was becoming one of the most amazing things the region of Reodon had ever seen.
It was one fated night however, where we saw the best of young Hart. Aged 15, he was going home with his parents by mode of horse and cart. A stormy night as the family sped through the forests of Reodon. Disaster, lightning struck a tree ahead and it crashed down in front of them. The speed of the cart didn’t aid them, and they crashed into the tree, shattering the cart upon impact. Leon was sent flying over the tree and he hit the ground the other side with force. His parents were thrown into the tree and they bounced off, hitting the ground like marionettes. Leon got up and sped to his parent’s side. His mother was fine, thought shaken. His father however was weak, laid under a large branch. Lightning became stronger in force as a presence began to form. Leon watched as a figure formed from the lightning and his mentor approached him. His mentor spoke, addressing Leon that it was fate for him to die before his power took him over. Angered, Leon looked back to his parents and then his senses drew him to look back at his mentor as a lightning bolt shot from his mentor’s eyes, aiming at Leon’s heart. Leon yelled with anger as he thrust his hand forward to fire a PowerBall. However, rather than a PowerBall, the lightning stopped infront of his hand, a force was blocking it. The mentor tried to force it with more effort, but Leon’s power was too great. Leon’s anger grew to a smile as he realised what was happening. He pulled his hand back slowly to pull his mentor in and then the lightning vanished into his palm. Leon thrust his hand forward again, a massive ball of energy shooting out, striking the mentor between the eyes, taking his head off with one clean blow (Twist of Fate technique). The Twist of Fate was born. Leon ran back to his parents. His mother was nursing his fathers head in her arms, the branch wouldn’t move. Leon lowered his head, it seemed all was lost. He had one last hope, ushering his mother away, he set up for it. He faced the branch and drew his sword, getting ready for the Scorpalix Flare. The ‘X’ drawn, he fired the flare.
What he hadn’t expected, because his father had never told him, was that his father had defensive abilities, such techniques that he hadn’t used before. The ring on his father’s finger, shone as it formed a barrier. The barrier repelled the beam straight back at his son before he could react quick enough, sending Leon flying through the air, hitting another tree and then hitting the ground. Mutilated by his own attack, Leon lay there, as he watched his father, seeing the tree go flying up into the air, a huge bone shooting out of his father’s chest brushing it away with ease. Bret ran over to his son and knelt down as he lifted his son off of the ground. A week later, Leon woke up after a coma following the accident. However, his skeleton had been damaged beyond repair, leaving him for dead. After consulting a doctor, his father knew he had to find some way to save his son. A gift, for his son’s 16th birthday, the gift of life as his father gave his son one of his own abilities, the ability to manipulate his bones at will. Leon healed fully within a couple of months as he learned to use the move to its fullest (Shikotsu Myaku).
A couple of years later, Leon moved back to fighting for prizes, entering the Under 18’s a couple of weeks before his birthday. His new ability had allowed him incredible things, using his bones as arrows as he sent them through the air, impaling opponents and altering their sizes to then bend around attacks, looking practically impossible. He won the competition with some ease.
Leaving the competition to head off home, he came to a confrontation in the forests. A man was stood there, facing Leon head-on. Leon shrugged and went to walk around the man, nodding to say “Hello” as he did so. The man blocked his path. A raised eyebrow answered from Leon as he cleared his throat. “Could you please let me through?”. An obvious polite tone went with the request as Leon waited for the reply. The man ahead suddenly raced forward at Leon, claws coming out of his knuckles. Leon sighed and ducked under as the fight began. The two fought viciously, ripping away at each other, his opponent, given the adopted name of “Beast” from Leon as they fought, seeming like an animal the longer the fight went on. It wasn’t until Leon was knocked away that he realised his opponent wasn’t a normal beast. He had been turning into a lion as they fought. Leon raised an eyebrow curiously as he watched the transformation end, the Lion there ahead of him. The fight started again, but this time, Leon was knocked down as he received a bite from the Lion on his neck. Crying out with pain, the battle ended as Leon replied with the Scorpalix Flare. Wincing, he carried on home.
A few days later, Leon developed a scar across his shoulder and neck where the bite had been. A curse, similar to that of a werewolf he discovered, but rather than transforming by force, he realised he could change to a Lion at will, something that made his parents afraid of when he did so at home, but fortunately, he had total control (Animangus).
Aged 20, he wasn’t far from the best there was in the world, he’d beaten champions, and earned a title of “Legend Killer”. But, he was still learning, and still had obvious weaknesses. One was the fact that he wasn’t too good in a handicap match (one against two or more), he was weak to summons as it required so much concentration. An answer to that came when he met one of the elite fighters of the world, one Sparda Gray, who was 4 years younger than him. Sparda told him of a place called “Sorrows Cave” where a monster lived. Apparently that monster had a prize for anyone who could tame it in battle, no-one of yet had succeeded. Leon went on the trail of this monster, ending at Sorrows Cave and he entered unafraid. He might have been unafraid, but he wasn’t match for the monster there. It wasn’t until Leon had enough time to activate the Scorpalix Flare that he struck the monster down with force. Shocked at what had happened, the creature decided that Leon was worthy, the only person as of yet to have struck him down. He awarded him the prize, an ancient book. The beast concluded that the book would help him in his inability to take on summoned creatures.
Taking the book into battle, he got ready for a summon to come out. He didn’t know what to do with the book, but he was sure of being ready for the time to use it. Indeed he was, but he didn’t know anything about what would happen. The summon charged whilst it’s master did also, both at Leon. The book sprung open and the summon vanished into it. The master skidded to a halt in shock. Leon was amazed at the book. But that wasn’t it. Then, a cartoon version of the summon sprung out, and took its place by Leon and waited for its command. A pumped up version of the original, ready for action and wanting to fight. Leon won the battle with its aid.
After reading the book, he discovered that the book contained a world inside of it, the cartoon world. Anything that went in, came back out as a cartoon, at its master’s command. Happy with the book, Leon went on with his campaign to be the best of the best.
His last ability came when training with the elites. To enter into their league, he needed to train enough to prove he belonged. The 22 year old spent a month in the scorching deserts of Avalon to get in. He was forced to walk for 100 miles with only a bottle of water and an 80kg sack of sand on his back. Halfway across, nearly unconscious, he saw a mirage, or what he thought was a mirage. The mirage watched him, it looked like Leon himself. Leon watched the copy. The copy then smiled and surrounded itself with sand from the sack. The mirage gone, Leon confused, he continued onwards.
Leon got to the end, and was then told he’d have to defeat the only other person who had finished with him. Leon was too tired, whereas his opponent was fully fit, someone who’d trained in the deserts all of his life. He beat Leon down, and Leon was too tired to strike with a Scorpalix Flare. Instead he looked at his foe, and the sand made a barrier in-between them, blocking most of the attacks. Giving him enough time to use his energy to power-up, he then broke away the barrier, and hit off with the Flare attack. He won, and became one of the Elites. He named the mirage “The Sandman”, and whenever he used the technique, the other elites laughed and said “Ha ha... Enter the Sandman”
Leon continued onwards on his path to superstardom, becoming more and more famous as a knight. However, with fame comes great envy and hatred. Leon was responsible for the collapse of many of the greatest gangs that had tried to take over the world, and for that he was one of the number one people who the evil of the world wished to take down. Many times, his life was put on the line as many assassins were sent out to take him down, but each time he was able to overcome them and put them to rest. He was becoming a target more often, and for that he was also putting his country under great danger, and gangs targeted Reodon to use as bribery for Leon to show himself for opponents to then have him where they wanted him. Leon couldn’t do much about this but to continuously defend the place he loved.
But the heights of Leon’s fame were met by his downfall. A clever trap which involved some of the best criminal minds in the world meeting together to conduct a plan to finally take down the Sandman. Luring Leon into a building to take down what Reodon believed were an ordinary gang, trapped Leon amongst the best known villains in the world. Leon took them on, knocking them down one by one as he gradually showed how brilliant he was at fighting. But the plan was never to kill him, but to lead him into a part of the building where he couldn’t defend himself and they could work away at him. Knowing they couldn’t tire him out, or beat his defence, they settled for the next best thing that they could do to him, and that was to imprison him. Leading him into a room with four people in, the four people knocked him to the floor, formed a square around him, and chanted a spell. The spell created a warp-hole below Leon, which being on the ground he couldn’t get up fast enough; he was sucked into it instantly. This hole took him into a world which existed only for Leon, a white void that just seemed to go on and on and on and on, without an end. The gang then placed this world inside of an object, so he’d be trapped inside of it and couldn’t escape. They put this world inside of a crystal ball.
For centuries to come, Leon was trapped inside this world with nothing else with him, but his possessions that were with him on the mission. The world seemed to go by without him; he was forgotten as the world progressed, his legend faded from existence. He spent weeks after being trapped inside of that place trying to escape, but settled eventually for the fact that he couldn’t. The world kept him alive, he never felt hungry or thirsty, in a way the fact that he couldn’t die was the ultimate form of torture. He practiced his techniques continuously however, just in case the time finally came where he could get out of the hell he was trapped inside. Gradually, his mentality faded, he went insane for a long period of time, having frequent mental breakdowns. But he came out of that, but the period of depression he was suffering from never faded. He lost the personality he was, now dark realising that he was helpless to his fate. All he could do was sit, for eternity in the world that tortured him continuously. For a century of two, he simply sat in silence, not moving whatsoever, hoping his body would rot, but it wasn’t to be. He was to remain in that crystal ball for the rest of time.
However, he had a stroke of luck. The crystal ball was found one day. The building it had been contained in had been blown up, the crystal ball taken down with it and buried beneath the ground in darkness. One day, a group of children were digging in the soil, wondering how far they could dig down. They went on for weeks and weeks, and eventually, they came across relics from the old building, pieces of clay and such other things, and the crystal ball. It was now in a seriously bad condition, covered in dust, showing its age, no longer as shiny as when it was first used. The children took shine to the ball and took it back to their home village of Garalos on the north-east of Avalon.
One day, a tournament came to the town, an Under-13 swordsman tournament. One of the children went, taking the crystal ball with him. His first round fight, he went into the match, confident that he could win. The tournament was international, so people from all over the world attended. His first match was against someone from Titusville, a young knight called Steve Hanley. The rules were, first person to take a serious injury, such as limb-injuries, would lose by forfeit. Killing was not allowed. The child won against Steve Hanley, and announced that Titusville’s warriors were pathetic. His next round was against another Titusvillian… Alixer Gray. The child said he’d put his crystal ball on the line for the match, sure he wouldn’t lose. Alixer cut off his sword-wielding hand in less than 15 seconds, parrying the child’s attack, ducking under a couple of swings, and with his first strike, simply taking the hand off. The child screamed in agony; as Alixer walked past, took the crystal ball and went on to win the tournament.
Alixer, now the new owner of the ball cleaned the crystal ball up, making it look as shiny as it used to look. He spent days examining the crystal ball, and he finally realised that this wasn’t an ordinary ball. The ball wouldn’t shatter, no matter how much he tried to test its durability. Curious, Alixer decided to look at the ball with more detail, examining everything about it. He noticed a seriously faint mist inside of it, something that the human eye wouldn’t pick up, he spent hours looking through the ball and moving it around in the light to check out this mist. Concluding that there was something in this crystal ball, something strong, he set out to check the history books.
Looking through millions of scripts about the history of Mystic Sky, he was looking at anything he could get his hands on, not knowing where to begin. He looked through Mystic Sky legends and families which had bloodlines that were legendary. Eventually, his attention was distracted by looking through the Grays history, the legends such as his father Dorian, his great-great grandfather Marcus and then finally, his ancestor Sparda Gray. He knew a lot about Sparda; having spent hours trying to copy his techniques, but finding that he was unable to. He then noticed at the bottom of the page, a reference to Leon Hart. It stated Leon Hart as a friend of Sparda’s, but having mysteriously vanished centuries ago. Deciding to forget about the crystal ball, he started looking up what he could about Leon, trying to find out who he was and any possibly stories about his vanishing. He went to the elders, people of his village, Samford who knew a lot about the history of the village. They told him that what happened to Leon Hart was unknown; he’d simply dropped off of the face of the earth. One of the elders in particular seemed incredibly reluctant to allow any information, which made Alixer typically suspicious. The more he went to question this person, the angrier the elder got and eventually he turned around to Alixer and told him if he ever questioned about Leon again, he’d kill Alixer. Alixer now had as much information as he needed.
One fateful night, Alixer snuck into the elder’s house, and proceeded to look through books in the library. Documents were listed aplenty in the library, all hand-written with the same style of writing; Alixer guessed the elder had written them himself. Eventually, he came across a document which seemed to have plans for a room of some kind, and markings for positions of people. Alixer continued to read through more documents of plans and further information about this room. Alixer’s reading was interrupted as he was forced to dive behind a wall as an arrow raced towards him. The elder had noticed Alixer’s presence and decided to fulfil his threat. Alixer was doing well as they battled, dodging sword swings, something he was extremely good at, but he eventually tired and the elder struck him down. The elder cornered him and asked Alixer why he cared so much. Alixer had read enough to discover that the elder had been involved in an operation to take down a knight, by trapping him in a room and imprisoning him in something. Alixer was quick to make the guess of who it was, and accused the elder of assassinating Leon Hart. The elder smiled in reply, answering the accusation. Alixer continued to listen on as the elder explained why, and the elder then revealed what Leon was trapped inside. Alixer realised now what his crystal ball was, but it was too late to solve the problem, he was effectively dead. The elder went to strike, but he was cut short by a spear shooting through the window, going straight through the elder’s head. One of the other elders made his way through the window, explaining that he’d been tracking the other elder since the encounter with Alixer being told by the elder not to interfere with private matters. Alixer had effectively solved the case of who killed Leon Hart.
Going back to the crystal ball, Alixer knew he must keep the situation of the ball a complete secret, but he would need to figure out how to get Leon out of this crystal ball. Inside the ball, Leon was now aware of the presence of Alixer around the ball, but not actually in realisation that it was a child, he was simply aware of a human presence. He would have to try and work with this human, make him aware that he was there. He needed to make this human aware that he was still perfectly alive. He began to use his “Shikotsu Myaku” to make himself bigger, trying to spread upwards towards the mist. He got to his limit and then made his bones continue to spread outwards, trying to reach through the mist. Alixer noticed this, seeing a thin needle like object pierce through the mist. He had to do something quickly.
He was forced to go to the elder, and show him the crystal ball. The elder took action, but promised to keep the crystal ball a secret. The elder investigated the magic around the crystal ball, and was eventually able to crack part of the spell, allowing Leon to make contact with the outside world by voice, and vice versa for the outside world. The elder decided to allow Alixer to keep the ball, trusting a Gray with Leon Hart. Alixer spent weeks, learning from Leon about the old Mystic Sky and all about his life, and also about Sparda. Alixer said he’d find a way to free Leon. Leon thanked Alixer and said that for as long as he was in the crystal ball, he’d act as Alixer’s guardian.
They fought side-by-side (or something like that) for years and years, throughout all the events of Alixer’s life, including when he became the phenomenon Twilight Gray. For 400 years they battled on, with Twilight constantly trying to release Leon from the ball, but each time it was to no avail. Leon’s hopes began to fade even more as he remained in the ball, he got darker and darker, and soon Twilight couldn’t rely on his aid in battle and began to shine on alone.
But, Twilight shone through on his promise, and finally found a way to get Leon out. In the Twilight Realm, he realised that if he put Twilight Energy into the ball, he could take it out. The ball could contain the energy, all he had to do was overload it with energy and surely it would be forced to explode. Twilight used the energy from the realm to put so much power into the ball, it slowly started to deform and stretch. He kept doing so, in hope it would explode, more and more energy to overload the ball. It didn’t explode, but eventually, the ball rejected the physical presence of Leon Hart and threw him out of the ball. Twilight was exhausted from the effort, but overwhelmed that he’d finally been able to free Leon. He walked up to Leon and asked him how he was. Leon simply looked up at Twilight, stood and shrugged. Although Leon was out, most of his happiness had been lost throughout the torture of the ball. However, he informed Twilight that he owed him one and then quickly proceeded to leave. Twilight knew why Leon was like he was, and let him go on. Leon had a lot of respect for Twilight for fulfilling his promise, but that was the only reason. He didn’t feel close to Twilight, like a friend or anything and he didn’t wish to be.
He decided that he needed to devote himself to something, to keep his mind off of the life he was living, a depressed one. He remembered those who had assassinated him, how devoted they were, determined and always people who liked perfection in their jobs, got money for it and waited for the next job. It interested him and he decided to go down that path, working for the highest bidder. After a couple of missions, he found that he was exceedingly good at his job, and learnt new techniques for assassinations and espionage. He became well-known as an assassin, and people everywhere were looking to offer him contracts to do missions. He’s known for being highly reliable.
Now, he’s just living his life, taking missions as they come, not really looking for anything else except to get his money and move onwards. He wants to try and bring back what he was, but just to make sure he’s not forgotten, not to be famous but to show that he never faded at all. He’s aware that his legend is pretty much dead and that his attempts may be in vain, but he’s got nothing better to do in this life, so why not?
