Ffx And Ffx-2 Game Help

Please post in this thread if you have any questions concerning game help for Final Fantasy FFX and FFX-2. I'd also be happy if people posted some good tutorials (as long as they are not attached to FF/Square-Enix sites, rather general game site) and i will add them to this beginning post. You can also post tips in here, even if people do not ask for them.

As such, there will be no more topics created asking for help within the FFX and X-2, only this thread will serve that purpose. You will recieve a warning if you make a topic asking about game help or giving it.

Question: where can I most easily find the items wings to discovery, winning formula and door to tomorrow? A site that lists where to find all items would also ge of great help.

Wings to Discovery: Shinryu in the Monster Arena drops them; you can also bribe malboros and great malboros, but don't ask me how much gil you need.

Winning Formula: receive 99 from monster trainer for unlocking all areas; Ultima Buster in the arena drops them; bribe Sand Worm.

Door to Tomorrow: Steal from Ultima Weapon; Bomb King in the arena drops them; receive 99 from the monster trainer when you unlock 6 areas

Here's where I found this-as far as I can recall it's accurate.

^ When you bribe, You have to offer 20 x the monster's full HP..
The Malboro has around 30,000 Hp, so you'll have to offer about 6,000,000 Gil..

This isn't quite specific game help, but making a topic wouldnt be necessary.

Does anyone know where you can find/fight the Dark Aeons? I have only heard about them, but never actually seen one. I've heard they are tough to beat, but I dont really know anything on it. So if I could get some information to that degree, that would be great.

Tip - If you ever run low on spheres there is a great place to restock, first get Tidus Rikku & Wakka a weapon with a distill ability (must be the same on everyone's weapon) then go to Mt. Gagazet's water area, you will encounter 3-4 groups of Splashers which will eventually drop about 7 spheres of the same type, they are very easy to kill and thus it takes only about 5 mins to reach the limit.

Another one, you can also get Tidus's overdrives pretty fast there, set the overdrive mode to Slayer and let only him attack as the Splashers die in a single hit.

At 65years of age am I destined never to finish F.F.X?
No matter how I try, I can only get to 0.07
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am at the point of selling the game and will start my F.F games from number 1.

^ I have never done it either Grandma... my advice that i have heard would just be to keep trying and finding the places where you can quicken uop your time... if you keep improving you know you will get it someday :)

You have a better chance of winning the closer you are to the first balloon at the start of the race. It's a bit of a lottery in terms of where the balloons are each time you do it, so essentially when it works in your favour, you just need to figure out the best path.

I'm stuck in looking for the very last Al Bhed translator thing. I know it's in the Omega Ruins but I've been running around there for ages and I can't seem to find it. Must I defeat Omega Weapon first?

There's a hidden path somewhere in the middle, you have to activate something for it to open, maybe it's there, I'm not sure.

I want to offer advise to anyone if they need help with the Orgre at the Macalina Temple with the Guado.
To start off with you must have these at very high Stats: Wakka, Lulu and Rikku. Wakka must know Sleep Attack. And Lulu must know her 2nd leaval magic. The reason of having Rikku is so she can Steal the Auto Poition from the Guado and Use her iteams.
Have Wakka use Sleep Attack on the Orgre. Wakka must be switched out so then when it wakes up the charactor who has their turn can then switch so Wakka can put it back to sleep without anyone being hurt. When the Orgre is asleep DO NOT attack it. Only use Magic and Rikkus iteams. Next finish off the Guado. Have Auron attack and Rikku steal the iteams. When they are done have Yuna cure Berserk, if its been put on. Next have Wakka put it to sleep and Lulu use Magic. Heal if you must. Repeat the progress untill he has around 6,000 hp left. Have Yuna summon Shiva and use Heavy Strike. It does around 1,000 to 2,000 attack. Keep attacking then Cungratulations!!!You defeated him!

a good guide too take out crawler and evrae

crawler:take out the negator with rikkus granades or lightning items then switch too tidus(and let him cast slow and maybe hastega or haste on lulu) lulu and yuna let yuna first summon ixion when it uses mana beam use shield option ixion can kill it ot damage it alot.if ixion dies use lulu mid lvl spell thundara or better

evrae: from the start bull back ASAP then he can only hit for like 300 damage and you can hit him with guided missles for 2000 damage ea but you can only use it 3 times use wakka lulu and rikku(better if she can use al bhed pots) then cast high lvl spells with lulu attack with wakka and let rikku heal if you need to.let rikku switch to tidus for a while to cast slow on evrae and hatega or haste on eatch char every turnso that everyone is in haste the switch back to rikku to heal onde he is on 10.500 health he wil come close and you must fight him close so switch too tidus and auron and use overdrive as they come and be carefull for its stone gase (but you cant get a char. chattering in pieses so use soft to heal) and posion breath you can tell when he is one turn away from using it(he drains up air) but if you can hit for like 1000 ea you can win dont forget to power break him so he only hits 600 instead of a high hit of 1.200 you can also use rikkus steal to get water gems from it and use it on him for 1000 damage.its hard but beatable

I need help to beat vegnagun I already beat the first two parts of vegnagun .The part that gets me is the last part with shyin .I'am 54% done with the game :)

The al bed primar is near the last set of thouse weird chests on the ring where you can go up to fight ultima weapon.
@Grandma
The way I beat the chocobo catcher game with under 0 was first of all u need all 5 ballons on your side from the start, if not you may aswell just forget it, then once you have gone around the first courner keep going from left to right getting as many ballons as u can, switch direction just as each bird goes past. Then on the last corner befor the home straight keep to the right, this prevents a bird hitting u as soon as the screen changes. Stick at it, it is posible. (not as bad as dodging lightnin 200x :P )

Easyest way if your having probs is to lvl up higher. The easyest way to beat him is he will alternate between tidus limit breaks and attack, each time he uses attack heal, if he uses a limit attack after that. Also consider what dress spheres your using, I ised Yuna as a gunner, Ricku as White Mage and Paine as a dark night. Plus u can use whatever items you like, u wont rearly be needing them after this.

i suggest to use 2 dark knights and alchamist(white mage is also good) let the dark knights attack with darkness to take out the legs they can hit you hard if they detect a fis. attack so take uot the legs and vegnagun will only try to revive the legs with full life so if he try to revive it use darness and after a while it wil be down

this is easy dont worry use the same trategy like with the core only if he revives hes support units he wil revive them al at once.keep healing and attack be sure that hes down within the 30 min limit else he wil blast spira into bits after the core core comes shujin and yuna will go into songstess ds and tel him how lenne felt he wil find out that lenne is yuna and will be angry and attack you

here he is the final boss he may look dangeress but hes not but he wil use overdrives that tidus had he attacks in the same way
1 attack:normal attack with sword (one person)
2 attack:terror of zanarkand(tidus blitz ace)(one person)
3 attack:hit and run(tidus slice and dice)(random all allys)
4 attack:spin cut(tidus spiral cut)(one person)
5 attack:force rain(tidus energy rain)(all allys)
he wil use this patron all over again just heal with a stash mega potion(if you have) or curaga from the white mage attack him and ones hes down you can see the end

well done you destroyed vegnagun and saved spira(again)
