Vincent and Tifa...I think that those ones are the best of the game...well if Vincent fight one day against Tifa it would surely be a hard battle, 'cause Tifa in my opinion is one of the girls that really knows how to fight, tough, she even had the courage to defeat Sephiroth by herself (using Sephiroth's sword) when the guy was watching his mother (Jenova),she wasn't successful, Sephiroth's so strong, I just can't believe that in the end they end up winning a battle against him (he ends up not dying in the end of the game, ehehehe, you know why? Because in Final Fantasy VII Advent Children he comes back :) ).

What about Zack?!! everyone seems to be forgetting him!!  He's my fav and I like him because he was Aeris' First Love!! He was also Cloud's best friend... It's sad that he died protecting Cloud... but what's even sadder is that Aeris didnt know he died until AFTER she herself died (look up FFVII Ultamanium official short story) AND.... after Cloud and Aeris met, even they were both close to Zack, neither one knew that the other knew their good friend Zack... sad story... but Zack still the best in my Book... Oh yea.. did you all know Cloud got the OMNISLASH move from Zack?? XD

Cloud is the number one for me but Cid is a close second. He is cocky and doesn't care, plus he steps up and, after some convincing from Tifa, becomes the leader while Cloud is, how you say, "not himself" for a little bit.

Cloud all the way he shanks with the buster sword that's prison cool, zack was a close second cause he is a very important character in the background of the story but cloud's the peak of perfection in the lineage of the buster sword.

I just like PacificPyro said you forgot zack he died protecting cloud, if he didn't you'll never vote cloud and who vote for sephiroth, hmph he just my servant me the true villain is "Just wait and see"

I always go for Sephiroth being my favourite character, I suppose partly because he has an awesome script in the game and also because he is just damn cool and his Masamune is the tits.
