It's impossible to single out one game if you ask me, but FF6 would be right up there. Help me out people! I can't remember all the games when it comes time to answer topics like this :wacko:

Apart from the Final Fantasy games, my favourite would have to be Vagrant Story. It had a good storyline and also some fresh new gameplay elements.

I agree with Jewell, Vagrant was the best Square Enix game apart from the FF series, it was awesome when you got to crate your own weapons ^_^.

The Final Fantasy Series are known world-wide and the most popular of all the other Square-Enix games. I guess you could say it's the best.

my favorite non-chrono/FF/SO game would be brave fencer musashii. great game, a classic. it did what zelda could never do: be fun :lol:

My favorite is still either Dragon Quest V or Terrangima. Terranigma was a really fun romp with a great storyline, music and characters, along with stellar gameplay, but it didn't hit the correct spot emotionally.

That's where Dragon Quest V succeeded. It's an emotional game. Here you have your innocent little boy, exposed to so many of life's horrors so early on. Yet he is able to recover from these tragedies and go on to become a wonderful husband and father. It was a beautiful game.

I probably have posted in something like this before but my favorite is always Xenogears. Not a whole lot of people have played it which is a shame. A little more difficult to find these days, but excellent characters, storyline, the whole ten yards. Definitely my all time favorite Square Enix game, and favorite game period.
