For me i picked FFX, FFVII was the one tht got me into FF but it didnt stick wit me as much as FFX cuz FFX had the voices and the graphics were better

i like ffx its like the best one...but i dont understand why people like FF7 so much?? i mean its a good game but i didnt really enjoy much...but coolest characters.

Ok I have to admit the battle did kinda suck in VIII but it's still my favorite. It was the first I played and I love all the characters and the storyline is amazing... at least to me...and I love all of Squall's outlooks on life and such...X is of course a close second. I love Yuna and Tidus

My favorite Final Fantasy game is Final Fantasy X because it was the first Final Fantasy game that I played and it got me into my Final Fantasy crave in the first place. It had like great graphics and an awesome storyline so it was easy to understand.

FFVII best charcters and story line lol but it was not the frist i played it was final fantasy X but FFVII is better lol

I voted for FVIII because of the story, the ending, and the characetrs Squall, Rinoa, and Irvine, but mostly the story and the ending.

It was really hard for m because i love both FFIX and FFVIII but im gonna go for FFVIII because of the story and the characters

I like FFX cuz its reminded me of FFVII(not in gameplay) it reminded me cuz i remember that like FFVII is what REALLY Made FF series popular...even though it was coolio b4 that...and then when ps2 came out....then comes FFX A sweet final fantasy first time they did Graphics like that.....great story line so FFX is my Fav

X is awesome!!!! I had to vote for X, cause it's the only one i played so far!!! It really is best game i ever played in my life!!! The story is deep and really touched me; it has the BEST graphics i've ever seen, and don't say the graphics don't count, cause in a game graphics are 2nd most important thing!!!! A soundtrack just beautiful, all the songs really touched me!!!! Has a very simple gameplay and it lasts for ages!!!! Overall FFX is an amazing RPG, very mature and realistc!!! Best game ever!!!!! I remember playing VIII when i was young, i really don't remember much, just that we wake up in a room, and then we go into a mall (I think it's a mall), then i went outside, and then, battles.....i stopped there, they were awful!!! I was a kid, and i was into battles with a lot more action, the system was horrible, from what i can remember.....but who am i to judge, i didn't understand english very well, so the game was very confusing!!! I'm now a BIG fan of FF, and i'm determinated to play VII, VIII and IX!!! Just waiting for my online account!!!!

LMAO off this kid right? ur determinated? haha its ok...ull if u really are committed to the FF series ull quickly realize ur wrong about the graphics...they play lil part in the FF series...their nice to have but not that important though i can tell u ur wrong bc it's opinion...but ull see that ull agree with me after FFVII...lol i like the enthusiasm though and the actual explaining of ur answer...although i also didn't agree with the depth of FFX story...the others had a much deeper and involved plot IMO...but o well ull learn!

It's brilliant to see more and more people coming around to the true classics (not to say X was bad...it's an absolute gem). But Neji is completely right; graphics don't mean crap (in todays standards) if your playing the PS1 FF series. I highly recommend IX, as it is my favorite one, as is the only one I bought on the release date (feb 10th 2001: 5 hours in a freaking cue outside Electronics Boutique at midnight in year 6...), but that aside, If you think X lasted ages, get ready to carbon-date your PS2 by the end of VII, VIII, and IX; each with 4 discs, with the exception of VII, which has 3. BTW: Squall, VIII has one of the best storylines, but I just don't like the combat that much, though the characters are really cool/funny/both, and I (for one) loved when your party followed you, as the party didn't disappear up your arse when you select them.

Don't get me wrong, Final Fantasy X was great. But take away the fancy graphics and it has nothing on Final Fantasy VII. The Materia system was much better then the Sphere Grid, even if it was more complex. The story was great, but no other final fantasy has a more kick-ass enemy then Sephiroth.

i said final fantasy xiii because ff8 really hooked me, but if i could vote for 2 than i would go ffx than ff7, i liked all three
