I voted for FF X..
The sphere grid was more interesting to me, it was way better than just leveling..
I hope this thread won't turn into arguements..

Pinned, that should be the last of them.

And Final Fantasy X, visually enchanting.

Its not like anyone is going to vote for X-2 though, it may as well be taken away . :P

FFX for me. In my opinion, it had the best storyline, characters, battle system, feeling, environment, and pretty much everything else. FFVIII is an extremely close second, coming secodn in pretty much all of those things (including Battle System). FF8 was realisitic, with a storyline that is hard to put together, yet easy to understand.

As you know, FFVII is my favourite. I loved the characters, their intertwining backstories, the main storyline is complex and engaging, the battle system and materia is an amazing tool; everything about it is fantastic, making it my favourite Final Fantasy.

Lol, I forgot, the music. Thats one of the most important things for me. This is the order for them, but they are all pretty close, and it is another reason for why I like FFX the most-

1. FFX
2. FFVIII
3. FFX-2
4. FFVII
5. FFIX

But like I said, they are all really close.

My favorite is FF7. For me it had the best story, characters, and it is just amazing.

I'm going to do a list to.

This is hard to do a list...

FF7
FF9
FF6 & FF10(They are both as good as each other so they are equel)
FF8

It's hard putting them into lists.

For me it has to be FF7.I enjoyed the storyline more than I did with the others, the characters were cool.I just really liked the gritty sci-fi feel the game had.

FFX for me, for pretty much what LW said; incredible environments, absorbing story, beautiful and moving soundtrack, likeable characters and an incredible setting. To me, its the perfect game, and my favourite of my life so far :)

FFVI. I don;t understand how people can vote for the new stuff. Sure the graphics are good, but the concepts are awful!

You should've put FFX and FFX-2 separate, they are by no means the same game.

I don't know how you claim that. Different does not mean bad.

I guess I just miss the simplicity of the SNES games. I rather liked FFIX though, it had a "back to the classics" feel.

I voted for Final Fantasy VIII. I would've voted for X, but that would've been a vote for X-2 also. XP

Wow. Now this is a surprise, I must say. I never thought that you would put FFX-2 over VII or IX. Wow.

^Thats the music, not the games. FFX-2 has only just a bit of difference in music with FFX, but some of the music was stuffed up so FFVIII got above it. Like I said though, It's all really close. :)

I had a little think but overall I thought that FF8 was my favourite, mainly because of the great in depth stroyline it has. Yeah all the characters may not get a back story but at the end of the day its what happens to the main ones that counts. I also loved the soundtrack to it, easily the best.
