Ff Game Help - Page 12

^No, you fight him on disc 3. I think the deep sea research facility is closed on disc 4 due to time compression. All of the towns are.

Question for those who've played FF VI. This is my first time, and I just passed the part when Kefka moves the three goddess statues and messes up the world. When you're controlling Celes on the deserted island, is it actually possible to save Cid? And does it really matter if you do or not? I couldn't save him, and I don't really feel like going back and defeating Atma Weapon and re-watching all that story just to try it again.

^ The research center isn't closed on Disc 4, you can still go to it.. :P
And I'm not sure if you can save Cid, but I read somewhere that you might be able to if you get the fish or something.. XD

Well are you sure Piper? on disc 3 or disc 4?

It's a pain to get there on disc 4 though, because you have to go and get the Ragnarok back.

I don't know for sure, but I think that Cid is beyond your help.

Cid dies regardless. If I remember, if you keep him alive, he's the one that commits suicide. That's pretty vauge though since I always fail at saving him and watch the scene where Celes fails at suicide.

...No, it doesn't matter if you keep him alive. He's a usless sack of bones pretty much.

Oh, Ultima Weapon is in the Omega Ruins, but I don't think they have a connection together?

This may sound like an idiotic question, but how do you get Gogo in FFV?

I've played through the game twice but I've never managed to work out how to get him.

Don't you only fight Gogo in ffv for the mime job class?.

You fight him at the optional place called Sunken Tower Of Walz.

No, really.

He says something along the lines of 'I do whatever you do, but to defeat me, you must do as I do'. What does he do? Nothing. So just sit there, and you'll win.

Silly question but I have been meaning to beat FFVII for about...two or so years now, never quite gotten around to it hehe. Basically I've been wondering where the best place to level is in FF, period. I'm at the last part of the game when I can head into that cavern place to beat Sephiroth, but I want to train a bit first. So whats the best place to level decently besides there? I'd level there easy but I cant get back to the ship.

Well, first off you can get back to the ship- there's a cave that gets you right back. That whole 'I don't know if I can come back up after I've gone down' thing is just... wrong.

Apart from that... it's been a while, and I can't really remember that well, but I think I used to level against the sand worm things on the beaches... I can't remember how good they were. If not, I think the area around that village that sunk into the lifestream might be quite good...

There are probably better places, but I'm afraid it's been a while since I played it, so you'll have to make do with what I remember. I don't tend to train much anyway.

The sunken Gelnika has some enemies that give decent exp, too.
