Ozma is one of the hardest optional bosses, if no the hardest, in the series

Ozma is one of the easiest optional bosses in the series. He's beatable at around level 60 or so, should be a cakewalk at 99. There's even a strategy to beat him on level 1. I'd like to see anyone try take down the Ruby or Emarald Weapons on level 60, let alone level 1. Or Ultima weapon in VIII. Or Trema in X-2 (without using the Cat Nip).

Phoenix Pinions: To find the % of Phoenix appearing, divide the amount of Phoenix Pinions you have in your stock by 256. Even If you have 100 of them, the % is still very low...
I think Vivi died before the ending of FFIX... =/

In the FFIX section there is a topic called. Question: Spoilers. It has a link to a site hat answers alot of questions about FFIX, Including yours about Vivi.
^^Emerald weapon at level 60 would indeed be a challenge, but if you have stop or Hades, ruby weapon is easily beaten at any level. With the right setup, Ruby weapon is one of the Easiest bosses in the series, although I congratulate those who were able to beat him without materia, cause in that case he would be a royal pain.

I agree with you in that Ruby Weapon is probably one of the easiest optional bosses created in the series. All you need is abit of luck at the start of the battle but once you get into a set pattern of attacks/healing it does become pretty straightforward.

You don't even need luck with the right setup. Enter with two people dead and the third with Final Attack-Phoenix. Ruby will immediately bury his hands, preventing you from losing two people. Then just let him kill you. Phoenix will resurrect you. Next you need w-summon, hades and mime, at least two preferably. When the person with W-Summon comes up, summon Hades and any other summon (Knights of the Round if you have it, cause of the amount of damage). Hades will stop him and the other summon will just eat away at his health. Keep miming this and Ruby goes down without a fight. The only trick is getting it started, due to the statuses he causes but with three ribbons, that two is cake.
Once again though, without this setup, Ruby is indeed a hard enemy, but there are fool-proof, if a little cheap-strategies against him.

Of course there are other ways to beat him which i have read about it.
But the way you posted about is the standard of how people beat him.

You get to fight him after defeating all of the dark aeons from memory?
i don't think you can use him as a summon, just a sidequest to fight the best aeon out there.

^That's right!! ^_^ It's the only way I'm thinking about. Oh gosh! 90% is enough to get the best ending in FFX-2?

You face them somewhere else. Don't ask me where, because they aren't in my version of the game Although, I think Dark Bahamut is in Zanarkand.
@Nana Kai-90% is not enough to get the best ending. But the part that you'd be missing out on if you finished the game with only 90% isn't really worth the effort of getting those last percentage points, imo.

I think it's the after the battle with Yunalesca that the Dark Aeons are unlocked and you face them in various locations around Spira. Dark Valefor appears when you try to enter Besaid for example.
Gave me the fright of my life when that happened.

Does anyone know if the International version was ever released in the US after the fact. I really want to take a crack at these things?

Did someone already passed the Boss "Lord Braska's Final Aeon" without the Celestial Weapons and without that trick that makes Aeons hit more than 9999 HP?? It's cause I never, but NEVER passed that boss, and I really want to finish that game at once

You really ought to consider leveling your characters up more. Boost your strength stats and get weapons with the break damage limit ability and you should have no problems.

Another thing you may concider is to hold off on your big moves until the second form emerges. Then Pullout summons and keep them out as long as possible, using them as shields. Full overdrives for them would be nice, as well as a Grand Summon from Yuna. Delta Attack twice is pretty convenient.
The Magus Sisters tend to stay out for a good while, seing as they are three targets and can heal each other. And they deal a hefty amount of damage afterwards. When they're gone, just kinda work your way down. You should also save your character overdrives for the second form, just in case you run out of Aeons.
This is slow going, but it works. This is the way I did it. IF you don't have the Magus Sisters and Anima yet, get them. It's a fairly small challenge to complete but it's worth it.

Well I getting Anima and Magus Sisters is the easiest thing to do, the hardest is to obtain the celestial weapons(tough I'll have to do it the same way) cause I'm trying to learn all the skills quickly by defeating Ultimate EyeBall but that monster knocks me down in only one hit, and the worst is that it's always him who plays first, unless I have a wepon that allows me to play first.
