You don't need Valefors powerful overdrive to get 9999. Trust me, Valefor and Ixion is that powerful. I ahd them doing 9999 by Macalania on my weak save. ^_^

Well done on beating him, but you have to face him one more time during the game. He's a lot easier then in my opinion, though releasing just overdrives on him is not going to win the battle.

Oh yeah but one suggestion start using Tidus's Overdrive at every chance u get its how u unlock his new moves ^_^

(u have to use the Latest Overdrive)

That how you get new overdrives? Shit, I was saving them for emergences. No wonder I've been having so much hell. I think I have screwed up and gotten to far with weak character.

How far along should my characters be? Something tells me I'm gona be training for a week lol.

EDIT: Might help if I said where I was lol. Just beat that big mofo after Seymour and arrived at the Zanarkand ruins. Next event would be entering the last temple.

^ If u beat Seymour normaly without Zanmato then u should be an ok Level

And Yeah thats how u get Tidus's new Overdrives

Use Spiral cut 10 times and u get Slice n Dice

Use Slice n Dice 30 Times n u get energy Rain

Use energy rain 70 Times n u get Blitz Ace ^_^

Right now I'm trying to beat Yunalesca. I finally got Yunas Holy, nice to finally have a damage attack for her and wow what an attack lol. Aurons beefed up and Tidus is pretty darn strong. Right now I'm working on Lulu.

^ When fighting Yunalesca i suggest u have at least one charector with Death Proof she has a really annoying Mega Death move :dry:

Yeah I seen it. But my character are usually infected with Zombie and it misses.

I do have a Aeon overdrive question. My Bahamut's mega flare is up to like +20,000 but I can't seem the get the others over 9,999. Is thier any way to increase thier overdrive damage? I figured maybe it was cause I was useing Bahamuts so much to buff up Yuna but I use Shiva alot to and nothing.

Yeah the other Aeons can do more damage but u have to get the The Celestial Weapons (the ultimate weapons for each charector)

Each weapon upgrades a differnt Aeon ^_^

Thanks for the tip. Now that Yunalesca is gone it's just a matter of tracking them down. I think I better consult a faq for this one. I figure it I really work at it I'll be ready for the final fight in a few days.

I plan to start FFX-2 as soon as I beat X. I like to plan out things long term. I was wondering if Rikku made a good warrior?

I need some questions answered if I'm ever gona beat this thing. I've tried to read the faqs but I guess it's just not sinkin in.

#1. Are the DarkAeons obtainable in the U.S. Greatest Hits version? (I heard something about only in an International version)

#2. Ultima. Says I need to collect like 6 items from the temples. Exactly what items do I need to find? I have already been back to Besaid(only found Valfores(sp?) second overdrive and some sheaps inside the fayth. Nothing but Grid Spheres and potions. Went to Ifrits temple again nothing.

#3. What HP don't a character need to be to face Sin? My buffest one is Tidus with 5,000+, Yunas is like 2,400+.

#4. Where can I get more Return Sphears?

Question 1: No, dark aerons are not obtainable in the US Greatest Hits version.

Question 2: Do you mean Anima? You're supposed to collect the secret items from all of the Cloisters of Trials. There's a new puzzle in the Zanarkand dome that you have to complete to get the last item.

Question 3: I would suggest having all of your characters at 7000+ HP to battle Sin. Btw, having everyones ultimate weapons and Lulu and Yuna's abilities 'autolife' and 'ultima' make this a breeze.

Question 4: You can get more Return Spheres from the Chimerageist in the Monster Arena, or from monsters in the Omega Ruins who drop it randomlly.

Yeah Anima I duno why I said Ultima lol.

What actually are the Secret Items? I might have them and not know it. I'll go back to Zanarkan incase I already have them. If their is a new puzzle I know I don't have it cause I skipped the dome(warped) when i got Tidus second weapon thing.

Here's the list of items from the cloisters:

Besaid Temple: Rod of Wisdom
Kilika Temple: Red Armlet
Djose Temple: MAgic Sphere
Macalania Temple: Luck Sphere
Bevelle Temple: HP Sphere
Zanarkand Dome: Magistral Rod

I don't think it matters if you've sold or gotten rid of some of them, as long as you got them from the temple at one point.

How to get the last item (magistral rod):

Fly back to Zanarkand and enter the dome. There, a new puzzle solution is displayed on-screen. Step on the three white squares in the first room and the four in the larger chamber. This opens a panel in the first room revealing a Destruction Sphere. Place the Destruction sphere into the slot to the right of the monitor in the larger chamber, and the screen will explode. Collect the Magistral Rod, and return to Baaj Temple.

That's taken word for word from my official strategy guide, so it should help.

You MUST get the items from the temples..
You can get all those HP spheres etc quite easily elsewhere and you won't be able to get into Anima's chamber..
You'll know you've got them in the temples because when you open the chests you'll see symbols that appear..

HELP
I really need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am on the part in Final Fantasy X where you defeat Sin. I went out of him to get Anima. But I left some stuff in the Temples and when I went to Besaid a Monk was there. He did that funny pray thingy and then a HUGE grey Valfore swooped up and attaked me!!!!I used all my strengh to defeat him but I couldn't. I went to the other Temples and it was the same.(but not with Valefore).I need to know how to get inside the Temples without the HUGE fights.
If anyone knows how please help me!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't. Either give up on getting Anima, or find a way to defeat the Aeons. You'll either have to train up loads, or pay Yojimbo a lot of Gil, and if you're lucky he'll use Zanmatto on them.

They are the dark Aeons. And they are TOUGH.

You should still be able to get into Kilika, Zanarkand and Djose temple, so if the items you missed are in there, then you are in luck.
