[br #7+8] Adopted Character Battle Royale!

The Concept:
As per the discussion in the Adopted Characters thread, to give our adopted characters something to do, we'll be arranging several Battle Royale style match-ups between them, the winner advancing to the next series of rounds.

How it will work is simple. Every day I will post the adopted characters who are involved in a weekly Battle Royale fest, and people can post their vote for which character they believe would come out on top, along with a reason why. Members who own the characters can post their pleas for why their adopted character would survive. This is where creativity comes in (as it's not just about strength) as adopted characters could win the Battle Royale through sheer stupidity, intelligence, or even pure cuteness! ^_^ It's up to you to decide just how to issue the plea for your character.

People who have already voted, are allowed to change their vote if you feel that a member has made a good plea for their character, and at the end of the week, the votes will be tallied, and the winner of the Battle Royale announced.

The Rules:
1: You can only vote for 1 adopted character to win each Battle Royale
2: Members who own adopted characters, involved in that match-up, obviously can not vote for themselves
3: Members are allowed to make their pleas as many times as they like during the match-up, to try and sway the voter's opinions
4: In the event of a tie, we will go to a Sudden Death situation , with the first character to 5 changed votes will win

Adopted Character Battle Royale #1 [17th-24th September]

Welcome, to the first of our Adopted Character Battle Royales! For today's match-up, we have a great mixture of both human and summon characters from across the Final Fantasy spectrum! Now to present to you the contestants!

First up, the ever lovable (though now long dead) flower girl from the slums, Aeris!
Second, a large robotic creation that is holier than thou, Alexander!
Third, the ugliest Aeon this side of the Calm Lands (though don't say that to his face), Anima!
Fourth, the summon that has been in more Final Fantasy games than hot dinners, Bahamut!
Fifth, the once petrified member of the Tantalus bandit group, Blank!
And finally, the sharp shooter who is both a hit (and miss) with the ladies, Irvine!

I vote Alexander.

I'm tinking in terms of FFIX, and Alexander had the coolest part of that game. He's a giant robot with wings that could only be destroyed by an interplanetary spaceship drawing power from 1,000 years worth souls. That's good enough.

I vote Blank. Hell, if he could survive being petrified for almost the entire game, he can survive a little Battle Royale. He's a thief, so he could steal Irvine's gun while he's hitting on Aerith, leaving Irvine defenseless. Anima, Bahamut and Alexander could finish each other off in a summon fight-to-the-death, and Blank could just stab Aerith and be done with it. Hey, it worked for Sephiroth, didn't it?

Because he can aim at Blank's head and Aeris's head from a far and kill 'em in one blow, while Anima, Bahamut & Alexander fighting a sharp fight and killing each others. LOL~

So the winner is Irvine. <3

I vote Aeris.

Reason: She's got killer magic skills and even though she is killed you won't get rid of her. She'll come back and kick ass!

I agree with Namine. The summons would duke it out amongst themselves. Since Anima is the strongest with Oblivion, Alexander and Bahamut would form a temporary alliance and team up against Anima. All three would near wipe each other out. That leaves the humans. Irvine would be too easily distracted by Aeris, providing the perfect opportunity for Blank to steal his weapon and kill them both.

So my vote goes for Blank. ^_^

Blank's a skilled thief and the only survivor of super-petrification!
Irvine's a sharpshooter! If it wasn't for Edea's barrier, he would have shot her dead on!

Looks like not many have faith in Aeris and Irvine's skills, and that power isn't everything for Anima. Blank is currently in the lead, followed closely by Alexander and Bahamut!

I'm with Mog. You can't beat the dances. He will be underestimated by all the others and his dances will keep him healed and deal major damage to everyone else.

I think I'm going to go with Cloud. He can use Omnislash to take out everyone else in one turn. Kairi has nothing going for her, she'd be the first to die. Mog's dances can be powerful, but not against 15 slashes taking away 9999 damage each. The same goes for Celes. Against a magic user she'd win easily with her Runic ability, but I don't think she's a match against Cloud's awesomeness. Gippal got his ass kicked by Vegnagun's torso , and he was a damn weak boss, so I think he'd fall to Cloud as well. And Griever didn't have any special skills that would put him on top in my opinion, either.

I vote for Kairi, since everyone'd probably be killing each other while she is hiding in the bushes, when there is only one person remaining she'd jump out of the bush and call out namine and erase that person's memory and then hit that person's head and then win.

She masters the bush hiding techniques, why else do you think she didn't get pwned by the heartless while running around with sora?

But Namine can only effect the memories of people tied closely to Sora. The only person in that group that could possibly be affected by her power is Cloud, and that's only if he's the KH version. And not to mention that Namine joined with Kairi at the end of the game, so there's no way Kairi could call for her help.

Kairi's only good at hiding and then getting herself kidnapped. No way would she win this battle.

Cloud obviously! it's clear that while the others are fighting cloud would be out trying to find himself a nice dress he could disguise the rest of the group with. he would go as a girl who gave the other guys drinks if they where tierd of fighting, and he would of course have put sleeping pills in the water, so when everyone else where asleep, he would carry out Omnislash on one after another, and therfore win the battle =D

I'll go for Cloud, he's probably the best fighter, Celes and Gippal would also be high up in the fighting, but i think Cloud would win it over in the end.

I've gotta go with Blank for the first one, he's a member of Tantalus, he's survived through super-petrification, plus he could just steal Irvine's gun and boom, headshot. =P

For the second one.. Cloud. I mean, Celes and Mog come a close second and third but you can't beat a move like Omnislash. Plus gotta agree with Knuckles. He made cross-dressing look cool. xD

I vote for Bahamut!!
I think that he just has to use his Mega Flare. The only one to survive his Attack is alexander ( that b****** :dry: )
