We all said our names in unison and looked at each other. Ved and Eve chuckled a little bit. Then Awol came running up with his sword drawn.

"What was all the commosion about?" He asked confused.
"Nothing. Just ran into a little snag, but that was all taken care of." I said.

Awol sheathed his blade and introduced himself. The rest of us followed.

"My names Kashya. I am the descendant of a mighty warrior by the name of Vade." Kashya answered.
"Vade!" Ved burst out "Is he still alive?!" he asked.
"No my father died a few years ago. why? Whats wrong?" She asked.
"Nothing... Its just that... I was his brother." Ved spoke looking at the ground. When he looked up Kashya was right in front of him, he got startled and jumped back a little.
"So your the uncle he spoke of all those times, and yous must be his friends." She said.
"Got that right, and without us your dad wouldve been a dead beat." I said while sharpening my dagger. I turned to face the others, when I fully turned around I seen her next to me ready to hit me. Since turned around in time, her motions were slowed down and could block her hard hit. "That wsnt very nice." I said holding her fist in my hand, she was sruggling to get away,when she tugged I let go and she fell over from the force. Ved helped her up.

"Dont worry, Hazard was always like that." Xenek said laughing under his breath.
"So your the one who always tested my fathers ability. He tells me that there was a girl named Xenek who paralyzed you when you kept getting out of hand."
"Thats me!" Eve said holding 2 fingers up as a peace sign.
"How did you put up with traveling with all guys?" Kashya asked.
"Well, none of them tried anything. Except Hazard tried once but stopped when I said no."

"Alright, enough family reunion bullshit. Lets get to the village." I said sheathing my dagger. Kashya and the others agreed.

"The way is over 2 hills, and a mountain. The hills will be easy and will most likely only take us a day to pass them if were not confrontedby anything. The mountain is the diffucult part, the quick way would be to climb it since its not very high but thats still dangerous. The long way would be too go around, its safer but im impatient." Kashya said leading the way.

[Ved]

"Just like him," I said aloud.
"Hm?" Kasya wondered what I said.
"Oh. It's nothing. When did he die?" I asked.
"Uh, about 14 years ago. He was very old, but still acted yonger. He seemed to be magical, for he lived a long time. He always told me stories about his younger days when he traveled with a group of mischiefs. Which apparently are you all. But you all seem the same as he told them."
"That's what happens when you jump through time," Hazard remarked.
"He lived to be one of the oldest," I said.
"Mom said he out lived many people. Even babies that grew up. One night after he died, she told me that she grew up with him. He saved her on day and then she fell in love with him after a while. He fell for her as well."

We reached the rocks and began to climp over as she told me the story, "He still looked younjg, until one day when she was pregnant with me he began to grow old fast. Yet he was able to watch me grow up. And when he died mom was devasted. I always wondered why he was able to live so long. Some people thought he was inligned with the gods."
"Haha, him in lined with the gods. Yeah right." Hazard sarcastically said.
"He's a vampire-elf. As am I," I told her, "Do you have better speed then others?"
"Yeah. I haven't found anyone that can match it. Why?"
"His gift went to her in another way. Right?" Xenek asked me.
"Yep." I nodded.
"Cool." Eve said.
"You mean his lightning?" Kashya asked.

I nodded as we got to the top. "So that mea-" Kashya's voice was interrpted by a vicious growl. I canine animal that looked like a Velier, but more evolved. Another set of fangs, longer and bigger nails and feet, four tail. Two longer then the other. And two eyes in each socket.

"What is that?" Awol asked fear in his voice.
"Shut up, fight first then ask-" the animal lept at Eve, while Hazard said that.

I reacted as did Hazard but my held out palm shot an aura of cold air and frost that hit it first. It froze almost instantly in mid-air. And Hazard's attack connected as it froze, shattering it with a haymaker. Frozen shards of blood and skin as well as slushy blood exploded in front of us. "Ask questions later." Hazard finished. "And it was mine and you know it." He said to me.

I laughed and replied, "So. Hehe, let's go. Freaking evolved Veliers."

Third Person

The view from the top of the mountian was bueataful. The forest trees showed much life, birds flew, and animals wandered. There was a village north-east of the forest. Thats where Kashya was taking the others.

Kashya:Getting down is always funner then climbing up. *sighs*
Ved:Whats wrong?: Ved was only a few feet away from Kashya when she turned around. She put both her arms fully out and feel backwards.: Whoa!

Ved moved to the side of the mountain to see what happenned to Kashya. She was standing on the ground, unharmed. Awol was watching as well.

Awol:How exactly did she do that? I mean from this high, wouldnt she have died?

Hazard:No, its real simple. Watch.: Hazard walked over pushing both Awol and Ved out of his way. Then he put one foot, readying for the jump, and lunged off the mountain. As he fell through the air, he did a corkscrew so his feet would be facing the ground, the tail of his trenchcoat flutterred with the wind. When he hit the ground he caught himself by landing on one knee and using his left hand to stabilise himself.: Hmph. piece of cake.

He said looking over to Kashya who was smiling. She turned her attention to Ved as he followed with Eve on his back.

Eve:Well that was thrilling. Xenek is using his powers to help Awol get down.

The group waited for about a minute until there was a flash, one the flash dimmed, Awol and Xenek were standing there.

Kashya:Alright lets go.: Kashya continued to lead the way through the forest.:

"So you can freeze things?" Kashya asked me as we entered the threshold of this forest.
"Well I not only can freeze things. I can generate and manipulate ice and water." I replied to her.
"Just as dad can do with lightning." She said more to herself.
"Pretty much. But I can do more then just conjure up some frost and water," I smiled, "And Hazard over here. He has many powers in the shadows. Xenek is a dark sorcerer. And Eve... Well she's just like a weaker version of her brother. No offense."
"Hey!" Eve began to object but then scoffed and smiled.
"Hehe. Well she's more with support then offense though. And Awol here. Well he's new to this group of ours so we don't know all too much of him, besides that he's a fairly good swordsman. Still learning though."
"Ah. So you all went thorugh time?"

I ran my head through my hair nervously.
"Well I did," Hazard began, "You can ask them what happened."
She looked over to me and then to the others.
"Ved tried to save us all, it worked but he froze like half the universe. Almost destroyed his soul completely. So while in a place that the gods lived we stayed for a long time. Then we left when Ved's spirit was recovered." Xenek said, "That's all you need to know."
"Wow. That's some power." She exclaimed.
"Try using it to lose some of the people you love," I looked down, "Vade was one of them. He left before us. And I destroyed many things. I did almost as much harm as I thought I would actually be helping."

Kashya patted my shoulder, "He lived well, remembering all of you."
Eve then was about to say something when Hazard interrupted, "Oh come on. It's over with lets go. I'm tired of hearing this already."

I shook my head with a smile and we moved on from the topic. It became silent after though. Just following. After a bit I got bored and then made a ball of ice about the size of a fist. Then I began to toss it from hand to hand. And soon enough Eve, Awol, and I were playing catch in the forest. And then Awol threw it over my head and as I was about to call it back it was in the hands of Kashya. "Wanna play a real game?" She smiled and tossed the ice ball from hand to hand.
"A real game?"
"Yes, it's fairly simple. Although we need more of these," she mentioned the ice ball, "Each person gets two of them. And since these are ice, two hits on a person will freeze the person completely. The object of the game will be to be the last one moving, being unfrozen. When you are out of both the balls, then yell and Ved has to stop what he is doing and a 'truce' is made as he makes the reload for the person. Then he goes and does whatever he was doing again. You can go anywhere in this area." She ran away and came back a couple seconds later. "Ok, there is a string creating the boundary around us." Xenek looked impressed, "Ok so do you have the idea?"

"Yeah." We agreed and nodded.
"Make the weapons."
I began to create two ice balls for each person. Then Kashya said, "Ok in twenty seconds we start. I'll send a flare into the air to begin. Now we move away. Let's go." And we began going in opposite directrions.

I backed up at first but then turned around and began running. And then suddenly when I got into a tree I saw the flash in the sky.

"Im not playing your stupid little game." I shouted and dropped the iceballs that Ved gave me. "This is a waste of time, i'll be near the river. Yell, if your attacked. Otherwise, keep me out of your so called game."

As I was walking away, Kashya's flare went off in the sky. I heard russling in the trees, I turned quickly and seen one of the balls flying twards me. I drew my blade and held it in front of my face blocking the ball.

"Aw. Your no fun." Kashya said dropping from a tree branch.
"I dont find fun by throwing balls at each other." I said. The I felt coldness coming from my side and held my blade blocking the ball. "Nice after image technique."
"Damn, how did you know?! Hm... Looks like im going to have to use a diffrent technique." Kashya said. Then heard the sound f a ball cracking as it hit someone.
"Whatever, I already have something planned." I said and continued walking over to the river.

When I reached the river I seen Ved sitting on a nearby log looking up into the night sky. He was tossing one of his ice balls into the air and catching it. "So, your not playing?" He asked me without looking.
"Mhmm... That game was just retarded." I walked over and sat next to him sheathing my scimitar. Then Eve came running up.
"I need more ammo!" She shouted "I got Xenek twice but was hit once by Kashya, and I know shes somewhere around here."

Ved smiled and held out his hands until blue dust particles formed into ice balls. Eve snatched them and ran off. The sound of a shriek filled the woods and she came back out holding her stomach.

"I take it your eliminated?" Ved asked her. She nodded and soon after Xenek and Kashya emerged from the woods. "So, did yous have fun?"
"Not really, no offense to Eve or Xenek but they just didnt give me enough competition." Kashya started playing with a shuriken. She then threw it with force and landed near my feet. I didnt move knowing she just wanted to see me flinch, and for some reason it seemed as though she wanteed to fight me.
"Do you have something against me that you keep doing or saying shit like this?" I asked her picking up her shuriken and standing up. I walked over until I was about 5 ft. away from her.

"You ruin all the fun. You couldve been my competition. Plus my father once told me that you could match his speed, and he couild move at the speed of light."
"I only use those skills for fighting, not messing around."
"Then why not have a little test duel? You versus me, no interferance. We can use only swords, but any technique we wish, agreed?" Kashya said drawing a katana from out behind her.
"Whatever, just dont cry when you lose. I dont go easy on anyone when were fighting." I took off my trenchcoat and droped all my other weapons except for my scimitar.

"This is going to be so cool, just dont go overboard Hazard." Ved said.
"Shut the hell up! If she dies its her own fault for challenging me." I said. Everyone sat down on a nearby log and Kashya and I got into position.

She was the first to move, her katana was still sheathed and she ran towards me making hand symbols. Some sort of speel I presumed. When she got close enough to me for me to hit her I swung my hand easily and she disappeared into the shadows.
"Ooh bad move." I heard Eve say. I smirked and sunk into the ground.

In the shadow realm I seen her looking out for my where abouts, I quietly ran up and grabbed the back of her neck and jumped out of the realm. As we got close to the ground slammed her head into the ground and rolled away and quickly got to my feet and faced her direction, she was gone. I drew my blade and blocked my back, I felt the force of her katana hit my scimitar. I looked to my side and seen her trying to over power me, I let dark energy course up and down my body running through both our blades until it hit her. Shocks of electricity pulsed her body until she jumped away. I turned around and smiled.

"You dont have half your fathers speed. Pathetic. Come on, you know this is pointless." I said. She 'grrr'ed and came running head on, thats one her body flashed like her fathers once did. I stuck my blade up blocking all her attacks, but as time passed her speed grew. On one move she went for a horizontal strike, I moved to the left and grabbed the handle of her blade and bashed the hilt of mine into her face. She was stunned, I planted my blade in the ground and used the hand symbols of the skill called "Forsaken Sorrows". We were both teleported to another dimension, a dark realm filled with demon dragons once commanded by my ancestors. They werent really their but to her they seemed real, they attacked and she dodged most of them until finally one of them grabbed her and we were teleported back.

"Alright, you win. No more." Kashya said on her knees with her katana on the ground.
"Where did yous go?!" Ved yelled as I pulled my blade from the ground.

"I just wanted to show Kashya a little move. And it seems she didnt like it. Now, can we please continue with our journey?"

"Fine then. But dude," I began as I started to walk on top of the water, my feet forming ice as they brushed along the surface, "you didn't even have to fight."
"I'll beg to differ. Fighting is a good way to prove a point," he argued.

I decided not to get into it. We've talked about useless fights before, but this one had more of a point then others. So I'll let it go. I went to Kashya and asked her if she's alright.

"Yeah, I'm ok. Thanks for caring." She replied.
"It's fine." I smiled, then I went up next to Hazard and noticed Eve go to where I was.
"So what happened with that move. That was a first for that one." I asked Hazard.
"I take the person into another-"
"-he is nice. Really nice."
"Yeah. He's a great guy. But he has his moments."
"Well who doesn't. You know?"
"Yeah. And Hazard's... we-"
"Dude!" Hazard pushed me to the side snapping me out, "Were you even listening to me?"
"What?.... Oh. Sorry. I guess I was in my own world." I looked back, Awol and Xenek talking behind Eve and Kashya.
"I know what you were thinking about. Well either one of these two things: One, well you miss her. That one girl that you met in that inn like place. Or Kashya, I know she's pretty hot, but technically, she is you niece."

I looked at him at the second one, "Ok bro. Now that's just wrong. But I know what you mean, and it's more on the first one."
"Well she's most likely dead. You know that."
"I know...." I looked at our feet as we walked.... then I heard it.
"...Not all... realms... frozen... in time...."

I stopped and Kashya or Eve almost bumped into me for I heard a slight gasp as I stopped. "What?"
"That's right!" I said not caring who asked the question, I turned to Hazard, "When I froze it all, I didn't freeze everything. Just the realms close. What if the realm that we first started froze. This one didn't freeze apparently. And some realms were still frozen and only recently became the way it once was. So there is a chance that only a small amount of time has been in the realms that were frozen. So, this implies that if our realm is one of these, then she's still alive, and not that much older."

They all just looked at me. "Uh... You just kinda rambled there. You know that?"
"Oh shut up Hazard." I laughed, "But this can be. I believe it's true too."
"Well we'll see when we get there," Xenek jumped in.
"Yeah first we gotta do this." Hazard said.
".... Fine." I looked back down at the ground then at the trees, thanking them for helping me realize this, "Let's get this going then."
"About time." Hazard began walking again.

I lost myself in the memory of the time I spent with her. Even with it being a couple of days, those days were some of the greatest.

I was walking behind Ved and every couple of times he would slow down and nearly come to a stop until shoved him forward. This kept going on until we reached the entrance to the city we were looking for. The giant dome that we once trained at was still standing tall. We headed towards the entrance until Kadaj got in our way.

"Uhm... Before we go any farther I have to warn yous. Since you two weild the headbands, student nunjas may attack you thinking yous have scrolls that will advance them into a higher rank." Kadaj warned Ved and I. I laughed a little.
"Good, then they'll be able to get a beat down." I started to wrap the bandanna around my head, until I seen a glimmer in the distance. It passed Kadaj's head and was right in front of me when I snatched it out of midair. It was a shuriken dart.
"See what I mean. These ninja students will use any trick." Kadaj said and turned around to look for the hidden attacker.
"You dont see him?" I asked. "Huh?"
"His gang is right behind us." Ved said as him and I turned around staring the ugly ninjas in the face.
"Now since they attacked us, and im not really an instructor, it gives me the right to kill them, doesnt it." I asked Ved as I stepped forward.
"Uhm... I suppose it would." Ved said walking up next to me.

I looked over, and down on the ground around Ved. It was turning blue and slowly heading towards the ninja trainees.

"Hand over the scroll, and we wont have to make this physical." One of them said. It seemed as though none of them of Veds plan.

3rd Person

Ved began to release his power into the ground. Hazard looked at him and wondered what is he using. But then turned back to the ninja's. "So it's a fight you want then."

Some looked at each other. The one in the front glared at Kashya, then at Hazard. "Pretty much. I don't know how you got those. You probably killed one of us and took it!"
"Heh, is that what you think?" Hazard smiled, and cracked his knuckles.

They began to stare each other down. The other's in both groups looked on, until they noticed Ved. The two didn't see it but the others did. Ved's body was pulsing with a cyan color, and the ground around him is no different. "Ved," you can hear the worry in her voice, "what are you doing?"

He didn't reply. As if lost in a trance. The group of ninjas that were behind the leader looked scared. For this is something they haven't encountered yet, and it wasn't their choice to have a fight. Then a blue flash emitted from the body of Ved. That knocked both Hazard and the lead ninja out of their lock. They both looked over at Ved.

The lead ninja stuttered, "Ru-Run!" And the ninjas began to turn around and run. But the ones in the back -who are now in front running- hit something and fell to the ground. In front of them a wall of ice erupted and blocked their path.

"Ved stop," Eve said louder then before. "This isn't like you."
"Trust me," he finally spoke, but in a whisper that only she could hear.

Then the glow in the ground rocketed at the ninjas. There was a quick flash when it reached them and when the light disappeared all the ninjas were frozen. Only their head stood out of the ice. Ved looked up at them and walked over until he stood in front of the leader. "You should knwo a good leader can tell what fights are neccessary or not. You need to learn that. And listen to your friends, they provide more help then you know. As for the things you want, don't accuse people without knowing. That just makes things worse." There's fear and confusion in the leader's eyes. "That's all you need to know at the moment."

Ved turned and walked back to his group. Eve looked relieved, Kashya looked interested, Xenek nodded, Awol looked somewhat fearful but glad that he's on Ved's side, and then Ved said to Hazard, "No need to killl them after all." With a smile Ved flicked his hand over his shoulder and the ice melted. "So Kashya."
"Yeah?"
"Let's move on." He said with a smile.
"Alright," she chuckled.

1st Person

We walked into the domed building. It was exactly the same as before, only difference is that this is another realm. I could feel it. And I could also feel that she's alive. Gives me hope.... but I also fear things that may happen.

Ved stopped and turned around, the light pulsing from the portal gave him a cool effect.

"Well, I guess this is good bye." Ved said looking at Kashya and then to Awol. "Our times are diffrent, and they have to stay that way."
"What do you mean? I thought I could go with you guys." Awol said.
"If you came with us your presence would mess up the natural order. Us being here did the same to your realm." I said glancing at him and then walking upto the portal. Xenek and Eve followed, Eve stopped next to Ved poking him snapping him out of a trance he just fell into.
"C'mon, its time to go." She said and walked up to the portal next to her brother. We gave our farewells and walked through.

I was the first, nothing new, felt as though your body was being taken apart and then placed back together. When we touched land, I could feel that the world was diffrent. One-thousand years diffrent to be exact. When I hear everyone else place foot out of the portal, I turned around and seen Eve run up to the hillside I was standing on. I walked over to Ved and put my hand on his shoulder.

"Well, were getting closer..." I whispered in his ear.

I looked at Hazard and then looked around. I closed my eyes and tried to sense the realm. Something's different. I opened them and then said to Hazard, "Dude, we're in the wrong realm."
"What? No. This has to be it," Hazard was pretty sure of himself.
"I thought it would be too. Cause it is the one that got Vade into that one," Eve commented.
"Well maybe he used the one in here. Cause I can still feel our realm. Can't you?" I asked them.

Silence befalled on them. And Xenek first broke the silence, "I do. And it has hardly changed. Not much time has passed."
"How can that be?" Eve questioned.
"Our realm was one of the closest to us," Hazard explained, "So since it was, it took the most and longest to get through."
"Which is why Vade didn't come from our realm. Cause when he left whereever we were at, our realm was still frozen," I explained more.
"Back to the four of us," Xenek said.
"Yep."

We looked around more, noting our surroundings. Nothing much around us. Kinda desolate. Like a desert, only a few trees scattered around and hardly any sense of it being threatening. I looked at the others and shrugged. Hazard said, "Lets get going."

"Yeah, I'll try to scatter a field to see if I can find any forms of life," Xenek told us and then began walking ahead, his hands together.

There was some shuffling behind us and then a familiar voice came from it, "You just going to leave a girl behind withought saying good-bye?"

"Oh geez," Hazard moaned.
I laughed and turned to greet Kashya, "Oh, I'm sorry."
"Yeah, sure you are. Anyway. I fugured that you may want some guidance in here... cause I didn't mention that you won't find life around here for many miles, in any direction. This portal is just in a no-man's land," she told us.
"Well thanks for letting us know this. Just tell us which direction to the next portal and we'll go," Hazard said.
"Oh my, should I?" she teased. "... Ok I will. Well I don't know where the portal is-"
"Oh if you weren't Vade's daughter, I would consider killing you," Hazard glared.

We all looked at Hazard and I just kinda shook my head. And then Kashya said, "Now aren't you grouchy. Well I don't know where it is but people here do. The nearest town is South-east from here. I thought I would walk you there. But I reconsidered. I have to go back. Will I see you again?" She asked us.
"I'll come visit once I find what I'm looking for," I promised her.
"We'll probably be with him as well," Xenek said for Eve and himself.
"Maybe," Hazard said.

She looked at us and said, "Well it's a promise. I'll see you all sometime then."
"You shall," I said. With that she waved, turned, and went back to the portal. I laughed, "So which way is South-east?"

"Im not sure... Probably this way." I said jumping down off the platform onto the dead grass that was planted into the hard soil.
"So your just going to take a guess and walk that way?" I heard Eve ask.
"Well, if yous have any better ideas i'd like to here them." I said turning to face them.

Xenek still had his hands together, now his eyes were closed and the area around him was constantly changing colors, his facial expressions were also changing. Then the colors faded and he opened his eyes as he realeases his hands.

"Well, the closest lifeforms that I sensed that had a high enough energy was that way," Xenek pointed "But im not all too sure if that is Southeast."
"Well, its the only lead we have so lets go." Ved said jumping off the platform, he held his hand out to help Eve down. Xenek was the last to leave the platform. As we wandered, the bright sun was beating down on us like the monster we faced to get to Kashya's realm. We were all silent, no one said anything for at least an hour.

Ved was lost in thought, Eve was too hot to say anything, Xenek, well he was just being his regular self, and I had nothing to say. But, upon seeing the towns welcoming board, Eve broke the silence.

"Look! Were finally here, now maybe we can get some water!" She said running close to the town. But something didnt feel right, then the dark matter hit me.
"Eve stop!" I yelled running after her.
"Huh?" She said and turned, then she looked down, under her was a blood red shadow. Nothing of my own. "What the-" as she tried to speak she was sucked in. Her entire body was gone, in a flash it all happenned.

I stopped right where she was last. I turned to Ved and Xenek who was right behind me.

"Im going to the Shadow Realm. Maybe I can find her, and kill whatever that thing was. So, yous coming with me?"
