At this point I had definatly had enough, I had been so frustrated for not being able to do anything while we all got thrown in jail like common thieves. I started bashing against the walls and screaming at the top of my lungs. "LET ME OUT OF HERE, I SWEAR BY ALL THAT IS HOLY I WILL KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!!!" I coated my body in an electrical current and rammed against the barrier that was around the cell. Nothing. It surged and tried to throw my off but my own current countered it. Even though the barrier was harmless to me, I couldn't do anything to it either, I was too drained from fighting before.
I sat there, thinking, so confused really. I have no idea what's going on, I heard one of the guards say something about Hazards marriage and I still couldn't believe that. Then thoughts turned to Ved and Xenek and Eve. I really hoped they were alright, after losing Awol I don't think I could lose them too, I've known them longer. Then, finally, I thought of Deadra, I was really hoping they hadn't hurt her and fromwhat the guards said she had company in her cell. I had no guess to that could be except maybe Eve or Xenek, in which case they're no better off then us.
"Hey, smelly can we get some food in here!?" I yelled to the guard, I was starved.
"Keep it quiet you, you'll get fed when we feel like it." The scruffy, bald man said.
I'll let you in on a secret baldy, I can pass an electrical current through your crappy shield very easily, it won't have much strength left once it gets to you but you'll feel it."
The three guards in the room began laughing, probably didn't believe anything could get through these shield so I was itching to teach them a lesson. I charged my body full of currents, pressed my hands to the ground and shot three super-charged currents under the door, they were slowed and weakened by the barrier but they made it out and met their targets.
"Oy! What in the hell, that hurt!" The first man yelled as the current traveled into his body, charging his motor functions, the next two currents had the same effect.
"See what I mean, now about that food." I smirked as they left for the meals.
"How's everyone doing." I yelled out my cell.
"Peachy" came a sarcastic tone from Stuzz.
"I'm in here with another woman, I'm not sure who it is but she's pretty beat up." Deadra called back.
I didn't say anything back, I just sat back down in the corner, I had a strange feeling now that Hazard and Ved would be coming for us and that person Deadra was with, something tells me she's the reason for all this.

Hazard and I just finished our talk and I sat down, cradling my head in my hands. My hair covering my face and hands. "I should've went in... Maybe he would be alive if they had some help... Instead I hid on the ceiling..." I whispered to myself. I couldn't lighten the mood anymore, not for me. The event finally hitting home... Moisture hit my hands. I wiped my cheeks, two droplets fell from my face at the open path to the ground. I shouldn't beat myself up... I stayed up there to give them hope and to find the others. I'm not-
"Suck it up." the demon's voice cut through the air. Yet not with harshness. "If you do that to yourself, what would Awol's death count for? Nothing, that's what. We have to get out of this first. You can do your grieving later." I nodded in my hands. "About Seik. What's going on with that thing?"
"I don't know completely." I brushed my face clean and peeked up at Hazard leaning on the wall. "First thing first. Find Xenek and Eve. I have to protect them. I've got to find them."
"Then we can finally get out of here. If it works."
"If she's the controller." I agreed. "But all I know is that I am not taking this detour to Crimson to delay my time apart from Shinji. It'll work. Besides you said she twiddled with it when she stopped Seik. It will work."
We got on our guard as footsteps resonated outside the door. I jumped back onto the ceiling like a startled cat. A bearded guard opened the door saying, "We have food for you." I climbed out the door as a tray was led inside the room. No one outside the room I waited till the door closed again and the bearded guard and servant left the hallway saying, "Did they find the last two yet?"
The guard replied with, "Not yet. We have yet to check the North wing with our group. The others are in the dungeons."
North wing. No idea which way it is. But I don't care. I let them move on and once out of sight I dropped down. I ran the opposite way. I ran past an intersection, and kept going. A guard. His eye's widened as I jumped into the air. I mustn't... My heel connected with his head. Knocking him to the ground. I kept going. I turned the corner. BAM! I bumped into another guard. We both fell to the floor. I springed up and decided to know which way to go. "Where is the North wing?" I growled.
"Right behind you." The voice is feminine. A girl? Yes. I can see the shape of her body. I turned to make sure.
"Yeah... this isn't good." There, right behind me, stood the small army that was searching for Eve and Xenek. In the lead stood Castor.
"I thought there was only two left?" One of them asked.
"So did I." Castor stared me down. I released the female guard I held and pushed her to the group. "Show him."
The guards parted a little and in bondage and in the arms of the guards lay Xenek and Eve. Four feet above the ground. Unconcious. I'm too late. Something serious has to be in this group to take down Xenek and Eve. Castor kept his gaze at me as he patted the woman into the crowd. Something serious indeed. Him.
"So. Who are you?" His eyes seemingly cutting throw me. I held it.
"Just the last of the group you've taken captive." I replied.
"Ah. Well, how should we do this. You surrender or," he pulled on his skin tight gloves, "I take you in by force. I would much rather take you in myself, not have the guard take you in." He smiled.
"You. Take me in? Is that so?"
"Why yes. Your friends put up a challenge but, with some help we took them in. Without much harm done." He paused letting it sink. "So how would you like to go?"
"I would like to go, take my friends and leave. Without anymore violence."
"Too bad. That's not an option."
"Thought so. I'm going for my friends then. Try and stop me." I tempted.
"Just how I like it."
I stepped forward. As did he. We walked towards each other. The guards eyeing me with their weapons. We got face to face. Staring each other down. Neither me or him backed down. He swinged. I leaned back and moved right in. Countering with a swing of my own. He blocked that and punched for my stomache. Ice formed there to shield it, as I brought my elbow down to his head. I heard shattering. My lungs tightened as air bellowed out my mouth. My elbow hitting his forhead.
I staggered back a couple steps. He broke the ice... Who, what is he? He simply cracked his neck and grinned back at me. "Okay... So I was right." I quickly caught my breath and flexed my fingers. "But I'm not here to fight you."
I shot my hand at the wall, indenting it. Ice formed on it and spread forward, very quickly. He moved closer. Cautious not to fall. He went to kick me, I grabbed his foot. Twisting sharply, I heard a snapping sound. Then I used my elbow again. An ice blade extending from my elbow, it stabbed cleanly through his calf and shin bone, followed by another snapping from when my elbow snapped his shin. He groaned and yelled. I pushed him to the ground and rushed forward. "Move out of the way!" I yelled at the mini army.
None did. These soldiers are better trained. But not good enough. I got through the first line. Hardly hit and still pushing. Clink. Suddenly I felt heavier as the sound occurred and something pushed me forward. I quickly glanced back: a guard with a pike fell to the floor, his pike bent. Something shimmered on my shoulder. So that's what Dale meant when he said that it'll accustom itself to my gift. My ankle-length coat shimmered with ice. Flowing freely but with the hardness of my ice. And as I looked it went back to normal, not in my control at all. In the background, Castor snapping his leg. In that second of looking back I got to the siblings.
I pushed their bearers out of the way, one at a time. Catching the captives before they fall. I roundhoused the nearest guard and they flew back into the group. The downfall to having a large group of people fighting in a small space. I used it to my advantage. As one side fell to the floor, I picked up a down guard and tossed it to the other side. "Wake up." I shook Eve and Xenek once each. Nothing. I picked up Eve. Put her on one shoulder, and then Xenek on the other. I'm not going to be able to sneak on with this. Or fight this group without killing most of them.
I stepped on some fallen and jumped over the last lines. I sprinted as fast I could with them on my shoulders. I skidded as I turned. I stopped in front of a door blocking my way. I looked at it and placed my foot on it. I froze the edges and reeled back my leg. I kicked it open with a shatter. Stairs. Good. In front of me, a towering staircase. I picked down and made an ice board. I flew down the steps at a dangerous speed. The bottom getting closer. I jumped off before we reached bottom. The speed launching me into the wall. I landed against the wall. The impact pressure vibrating me to my bones. The extraweight brought me to the floor faster. I balanced Eve on my right shoulder and released my right hand. I turned the knob and opened the door. Dark, smelly... the Dungeon. I went ahead. A guard saw me and then went to get us. I kicked him and he landed in on the floor with a thud.
I had to deal with two more before I got to the cells. I put the two down gently and moved ahead. "Hey, guys." I said to no person in partiular, just letting them know I'm here.
"Ved? Ved!" I heard Stuzz. To my right.
"Bro. 'Bout freaking time." Vade. Straight ahead.
"Ved. Get us out." Deadra. Directly to my left.
"What's preventing you from getting out yourself?" I asked them all."
"Repulsive barrier." Simply stated by my brother.
"Ah.... Be right back." I turned around and looked at the walls. Finally seeing a panel in the far corner I went to it. I studied it. It has a number pad and four buttons, each with a faded pad next to it. The pads are written on. I pushed the one that had 'Unlock.' on it. Nothing happened. "Okay..." I thought. "Oh. Duh."
I went to each cell door. Each has a number on it. The numbers for the three cells: 1, 4, and 7. The others are empty at the moment. I went back to the panel and pushed '1'. The sound of a door unlocking echoed. I pushed '4'. Nothing. I hit 'Unlock' again and then pushed '4'. Unlocked. I repeated the steps with 7. Now for the field. I pushed the button that had 'Shield On/Off'. The sound of a generator shutting off followed.
I went to the doors and opened 1, 4, and 7. Stuzz walked out, eyes red. He's been crying. "Thanks."
I opened Deadra's door as Stuzz got Vade's. Deadra walked out with a woman leaned against her. "Lyria." I said.
"How did you-"
"Hazard told me. No time. Gotta go." I cut Deadra short. "Hazard's upstairs. Top floor. We gotta get him out."
Someone chuckled. Vade spun around and struck a guard in his bald head. Crackle of electricty with the bang of his skull. "Told him I'll kill him. Besides he was awake."
"Okay. Well can you get Xenek. Stuzz, can you carry Eve?" I asked the two. They both nodded. I stood guard as they got ready.
The ground rumbled. "Uh-oh. We gotta go." We got everyone and went up the stairs. Half-way up another rumble occurred. The walls began to ooze. "Faster!" I pushed. Once the walls oozed over completely we could be stuck here. We got to the door just in time. We got out and the walls here just started. "The blue door there is where Hazard is. Go to him." I told the others.
"But what about you?" Vade asked.
"I gotta go do something else. Go! There's no time to waste." I rushed them, he didn't like it but nodded.
I started running the way Hazard said was the Throne room. A race against the ooze. It's halfway down. I got to a point where the ooze stopped. It just didn't pass a point in the hallway. And at the end of it is the room I'm to go to. Another rumble and a roar I ran forward and kicked the door wide open. Two startled people turned to the broken doorway to see me. A woman, Talim, and her father. Another roar. I looked behind and there Seik was. But not pouncing, just waiting... At the point where the walls aren't oozed over. It paced the barrier on it's hind legs, looking hungrily at us three.
I turned back and dodged a huge weapon. Just to get kicked in the chest. I went on the defensive. Looking. I saw it. Plus something else. I smiled and emitted my cold aura. Their moves lessening in speed and effeciency. I made my move. I punched the closer one, the father, in the chest. And with my foot I tangled and held his left arm. I grabbed the bracelet he wore and snaked it off. Froze it and broke it against his head.
"NO! FATHER!" She screamed. Coming in. Something hit my head.
"Talim. Get him." Castor's voice shot through to us. Behind him the wall's hardened goo began melting. That was the bonus. But now it's gone array with Castor's unexpected appearance. "I set the destruction sequence, Talim get him and let's go. The castle is going to callapse on itself." He pleaded with her. Light-headed-ness went away.
Reacting first I grabbed Lyria and smashed her bracelet as well. She screamed again. The connection should be broken. And this time Castor rushed in and grabbed Lyria. But before they left Seik pounded both of them into the far wall. I went to all fours and looked at my direction. I stood still. Like I did before on the ceiling. Something familiar about it. Then it rose it's snout and grunted. Small designs glowed over it's hardened scales. It looked back and ruffled the scales. I looked upon it, dumbfounded. It grunted again as the glowing design took color, cyan. And this time it rose its head and a fountian came out of it mouth. It all clicked together. Why it won't attack me.
"What happened to you?" I took a step closer.
"They transformed." Castor mumbled, trying to get up. "The way they were is no more. All of them are Seiks now."
"No." I shook my head. It couldn't be. Not this. "Selane... you killed Awol." Selane, the name of my Kurie...
It bowed it's head in apology. And adding to it, it pounced ontop of Castor. Then twitched its head at the doorway. Telling me to go. The bond, it remembers me. But only me, now its a killer. "Goodbye..." I walked backwards. Pity, confusion, and many more emotions welled up as I backed out the door. Once I was out Selane froze the doorframe and made an ice wall. I stood there and placed my hand on the ice. Sounds of fighting came from inside. I shook my head once more, "Thank you," and ran towards the blue doored room. The sounds of battle occurring in the room I just came from.
I got in Hazard's room and all were awake and filling each other in. I bursted in, "Now. We need to get out of here. The castle is going to collapse." I left the room as a bigger rumble came. The others following. On the stairs the building began falling apart. A rock fell. I saw it just as it fell behind us. Just as we got to the door. Something yelled and we were pushed all out onto the floor of the first floor. I got up and looked around. Eve was crying freely. Stuzzie is gone. A tear rolled down my face as Hazard pulled her up and we left the castle.
We went out the front door as the top floor fell down and it began its full collapse. A spray of dust and rubble rushed around. We stopped at a safe distance as we watched the castle fall. Deadra crying in Vade's embrace. Hazard holding Lyria as they watched, a tear trickled down her face to her chin. Eve bearing her face into her brother's shirt. Sobbing the loudest. I stood alone. I fell to my knees. The last of the fall happened. "Awol.... Stuzz... Selane... I'll miss you all." Tears ran freely down. Trickling then freezing as my body went cold.

My sword was still in the castle when it collapsed, but the metal its made from it indestructable and should be fine. I looked down at Lyria, she was wounded badly, I looked at the others. Two were missing and the others were feeling the impact from that. Was it really over? I had a sense that somehting was still alive, but I couldnt put my finger on it. Lyria pused slightly off me and said she was in a good enough condition to stand alone. I started to wlak over to Ved when I heard rubble move, I turned just in time to see Syr, the king, burst out, his armor heavily damaged and his face battered and bloody. With him a giant axe.
"You dare destroy my home, and kill my daughter!" The king shouted, I started to move but he already had his axe in the air and swung it for Lyria. My eyes widened as she stood there helpless. Once it was about to connect, I closed my eyes. A moment passed where everything was silent, I opened my eyes, and standing in front of Lyria was my brother. His armor was jet-black with a white trim, on the back laid the symbol for "God of All". The head of the axe laying in the palm of his hand.
"You chose the wrong target with me around." Zedge stated, he slammed the kings weapon into the ground and unsheathed his weapon of choice. Two black battle-knives, each one had a symbol eched into it. My brother lifted his leg, and quickly he got next to the king, his blades at the kings throat. Seconds later he was behind him, and blood spurted from the open gash on the kings throat. Falling backwards, the king laid lifeless in a pool of his own blood. And my brother stood straight form his kneeling position, sheathed his blades and lifted Lyria from her dazed state. Then he turned his attention to me.
"It's good to see you again Hazard." He eyed me up and down, "Although the suit doesnt seem like anything you'd wear. At least, not anywhere around here." My brother lifted his hand towards me and opened it, palm facing me. A bright flash emitted form it, I closed my eyes for a moment then opened them. "There, much better."
I looked down and I was in my battle attire, trenchcoat, black tanktop, jeans, and my boots. Only one thing was missing. "My sword," I lifted my hand towards the fallen castle, another eruption form it sending small rocks everywhere. Only this time, my sword hovered in the air, until I pulled it towards myself. "Now its better."
"I have to ask, how did this happen to Lyria?" he asked.
I was going to say something, but Ved spoke out. "The people that were in the castle did this to her."
"I didnt ask you, but you seem to speak the truth."
"Well, my names-"
My brother cut him off, "When I want to know your names I'll ask for them." he turned his attention to Lyria, "Lets get those cuts healed."
Pulling one of his blades from its sheath, he unfastened one of the bracers and cut his forearm open. Then he held the blood over Lyrias cuts. I knew what he was doing, his blood was like a healing spell, soon Lyria's wounds were completely gone. And she could stand up perfectly again. Zedge helped her up, then he turned to us.
"Now then. You can tell me your names, and why your travelling with my brother."

I could hear faint voices, but I wasn't listening. I looked at Lyria, she seemed to be doing alright... I smiled, not knowing why... I wasn't happy about that. An unknown voice spoke to my face, I wasn't listening... I felt a hand on my arm and looked at the direction it came from... Vade. He was looking at me, eyes filled with concern... I glared and burnt his hand off as he retreated, wincing. The guy in front of me spoke again, requesting my name.
"Deadra." I answered dryly. I saw him walk away to talk to Eve, who was in a similar mood as mine.
Vade then attempted to talk to me. "What's wrong?"
I smirked... "I think... I'm angry." I said. "Awol... he died trying to protect Stuzzie and now Stuzzie's dead as well. Does that mean it was meaningless? Because if it does... it's not fair." I paused as I felt a strong wave of mixed emotions take over my body. My fists were tightening and my teeth clenched. "Lyria." The mention of the name made me lose control and I drew my sword as I started walking with an intent to kill her.
Vade's eyes widened and he grabbed my arm to hold me back.
"Let go." I said firmly.
"No."
"I said let me go."
"You're not yourself." He said with pleading eyes.
I closed my eyes and I did what I never thought I'd do... my hand moved involuntarily while my sword slashed across his chest, making a superficial wound but enough to make him fall over with a grunt. I turned my head back to Lyria.
"What the hell are you doing!?" I heard Eve scream.
"Getting payback." I said, not looking at her and continuing my walk toward Lyria.
She was looking at me knowingly with a smug look. I felt an inner rage like never before, not even when Clio was killed. Or maybe... I was getting used to being a murderer. Either way, I didn't care at that moment, I wanted to kill this woman with all my heart and soul... and I wasn't gonna let anyone stand in my way.
Hazard stood aside, wanting to know what would happen while Eve, kept shouting my name. I drowned her voice out as I saw Ved walk in front of me and Lyria.
"I have no choice." He extended his hands and shot an ice beam that just evaporated as I reacted with a heat shield.
He increased his strength and so did I as I kept walking forward, the ice beam barely slowing me down. Adrenaline was taking over me at this point... I sprinted up to him as my wings caught on fire and tried to knee him in the stomach. His reflexes were quick, but not quick enough as I spun around and kicked him in the face, sending him flying backwards a few feet away.
"Now it's just you and me." I said to Lyria, smirking sadistically.
"Really?" She asked, smiling as her eyes started glowing a bright blue.
I ran up to her, hopped and tried a vertical slash from the air. Something stopped me in mid air as an image of a woman started fading in. As she appeared, I could see her blue, scaly skin glowing in the sun and her eyes piercing right into mine. My sword was digging right into her forearms as drops of red blood spilled into the ground. The woman who wore no obvious clothing smirked at me as her arms separated, sending me spinning into the air. I stabilized myself with my wings and then flew back toward the ground, landing right next to the entity and then striking once again
I could see Lyria move along with the unknown female figure, perfectly synchronized and their blue eyes glowing just as bright. I tried a horizontal slash and missed, so she took this as the perfect time to strike as she kicked me in the stomach and I was sent back again, this time, crashing against a wall.
"Give up." I could hear their dual voices speaking.
A tear ran down my cheek from the pain, but I stood quiet and smiled as I launched myself at her again.
...I hadn't realized my feet had been touching the floor the whole time as I felt a strong current rise up my body and I stopped. Darkness came upon me as I saw my sword drop from my hand and a weakened Vade with his palm on the floor.

I sat there in a daze, I didn't blame Deadra for attacking me but it still didn't make in any less shocking. I understood who she felt but she kind of overreacted a little. She didn't know anything about Lyria's powers and she still went after her, that wasn't smart. To be honest, Lyria's powers suprised me too. I guess I should've known better than to doubt someone that Hazard grew up with.
"Deadra, are you ok?" I stood up best I could, the slash didn't do much damage at all, just scared me.
I offered my hand to her but she just laid there, sobbing. I wrapped my arms around her and tried to resist the tears forming but couldn't. I let out all the emotion building up from the death of Awol and Stuzzie.
"Get up you two babbling babies." Hazard stated.
"Don't, not now." I warned.
"What're you gonna do about it now?" He questioned provokatively, "They're dead now, end of story."
"And you don't give a shit about it do you!?" I erupted and stood, tears still running.
"No, I went there for Lyria and I got her, that's all I needed." He stood face to face with me, I wasn't standing for it anymore, his cold heart needed a jolting.
"I don't believe you!" I yelled and was over taken by the Divinus power, my body erupted with a loud CRACK of lightning, power surged into my body from the skys, which were getting darker and gathering more and more. Thunder rippled through the clouds and I concentrated all the force of the storm inside me. I charged an enormous amount of energy in between my hands and shot a beam straight at him. He tried to put up a shield of darkness around him but he severly underestimated the power coming at him. The shield was ripped through like tissue paper and the energy beam hit him square in the chest and the electricity began running its course through his nervous system and motor functions.
"It's not good when you feel useless, is it!?" I shouted, my voice emmitting from the clouds above, as if it was the thunder itself.
Lyria and Zedge could tell I didn't have the intent to kill and stayed out of affairs that didn't involve them, they sat calmly to the side as I worked my course.
By now I was just venting, there was no way Hazard could respond with all that electrictiy coursing through his body.
"You never care, you're always cold," I got closer and closer and finally released the beam of electricity. He lied there, paralyzed completely. I could draw the currents out of his body had I wanted to but I thought I'd give him time to lie in the pit the energy made and think a little. My body was still glowing white hot in Divinus and I looked at Ved, this had been the first time he'd seen this, he was completely quiet.
As the storm clouds cleared, Divinus began to fade away, the last bit lingering in my eyes, glowing white hot. Eve didn't know how to take it so she just stayed with her brother and wept into his chest. I knew it was a stupid argument but I didn't care. Stuzzie and Awol had done nothing to deserve to die for someone they didn't even know and for him to not care like that was just too much.
I couldn't take the site of him, at that moment so I found Deadra still tearing a little from the whole thing and asked if she'd come with me, I needed someone to talk to. I could see in her eyes that she needed to talk also so we silently agreed to a flight.
"Ved, we'll be back sometime tomorrow morning, don't worry about Hazard, he'll regain movement in about an hour." I said and I walked a ways with Deadra before we took flight and soared off.

It's times like these that make me sad the most. The way both of them acted and how I felt at the moment from losing three close bonds made me think something I wouldn't think about, for any of my group. If we leave now, we can probably leave those two behind for at least a couple days. I, we, don't need the mistrust and fighting within-- A tear froze on my cheekbone. No. I wouldn't.
Zedge and Lyria kneeled by Hazard's body. They talked quietly to each other. I know better then to interrupt, so I staggered my way to Eve and Xenek. "I know it's... a stupid question. But how are you two holding up?"
Eve sniffled for a few seconds then found her tounge again, "That... was wrong... of them.. to do that... I'm not so... great." The area around her eyes, pinkish-red. She's still crying. Though it has decreased.
Her brother then spoke, his usual mellow tone, more sad. "I grieve for the deaths of our companions. But I've seen death plenty. I agree with Eve." I looked back and saw Zedge dripping blood on Hazard's chest, where the heat burned a hole in his shirt.. "The last then we need and the worst thing is to fall apart." Hazard groaned, from his throat. "Looks like Vade forgot about Zedge's healing."
"I doubt, Hazard would've lasted an hour anyway. He heals quick, remember? I'm sure Vade didn't. No offense to my brother." I replied then joined the three at the ground. Xenek, holding Eve, followed slowly.
"Do you want me to kill those two?" Zedge asked to his brother as Hazard rolled and sat down.
"What the f*ck do you think? I can handle them-" Hazard began.
"No. We need no more deaths of our companions." I stated sternly.
Lyria looked me in the eyes. I returned the gesture. "He's right," she nodded.
"It's their fault. I left alone, intending to do this on my own. I didn't ask for any of you to come. Though I knew Ved would," the demon looked at me and we nodded. "But if she's," Hazard pointed at the sky in the direction Vade and Deadra flew off, "the b*tch that started this whole thing."
"She was the traitor?" Lyria asked. She didn't know who she got captured for.
"Yeah, I heard a scout say something about that f*cking broad."
"And the king said something about a traitor in the group that I talked to one of it's member's." Lyria added.
"So it's all her fault, not any of yours." I commented.
"Yes-"
"No. It's nobodies fault." I stood up looking down on them. They stood as well, by the look in their eyes I knew neither of the three liked being looked down upon. "She didn't know, no one did. Deadra might've betrayed someone by accident, without intentions. We don't know the full story. So it's nobodies fault."
"He's right." Eve said through another sniffle.
Zedge nodded.
"But Deadra and Vade didn't need to do that." Xenek added in.
"I think he was just protecting her," the goddess spoke.
"You're probably right."
"We should get going soon." Zedge said."
"We're going to wait for them to return in the morning." I sat down. "Besides, I was in shock of his form. Next time I won't be and I'll counter his usage of electricty from the sky."
"What do you mean?" Eve inquired.
"He means that Vade can do his own thing from his body, but for the sky to bend to his wishes he pushes some of his power into the sky and the sky fulfills his needs. It needs his power and some natural lightning to form. And natural lightning is formed from water and ice." Xenek fill her and the others in.
"Precisely." I nodded.
"How?" She asked again.
"Later." I then turned to the three hosts. "We leave in the morning. we're going to Kinte and Loicide then."
We waited and got some food. Zedge, Hazard, and Lyria then walked a little away, for some privacy to talk. While that happened I told Eve the process of lightning and how it's formed. And we waited till the morning to come, when I can finally go and find Shinji.

Only a few feet away form Ved, Eve, and Xenek, I started discussing with my fellow demons. It seems as though Lyria and Zedge were travelling together for quite sometime after I split apart from them. They grew quite fond of each other, but the 'Rules' prohibited them from becoming anything more then friends with 'benefits'.
"I was amazed when I seen your power Lyria. I didnt know the Goddess of Lust had that type of power." I said, continuously looking back at the others and then focusing on Lyria as she spoke.
"Your brother is quite the trainer, he helped me uncover the surface of my Ascended power."
"So, Zedge and I arent the only ones able to tap into our gods powers." I asked, Lyria nodded. "How is the God of All doing?"
"He's doing fine, and what have you to say about the God of Destruction?" Zedge asked me in a serious tone.
"Mantus is still diffucult to deal with. But if it werent for him, I wouldnt be as strong as I am." Mantus was a big key to my current strength, the six months of travelling alone, he tested my mind and body. Somehow he figured out a way to take control without me knowing it, it was all training. I was forced to act and figure a way to take back control, just in case anyone tried a mind trick with me.
"Yes, all our gods help us in some ways." Lyria said, out of no where might I add.
All this talk and I remembered Lyria said something about my brother having important news for me. I asked him and he looked to the ground for a moment, then back at me.
"Yes, three of the god wielders have been murdered. We're not sure who it may be, a tester of the gods strength maybe. But if it is, and they challenge Mantus, you know what to do. It is futile to struggle, you'd just be wasting your own energy."
"Three of the god wielders are dead. And yous think it's a tester?" I laughed a little bit, "All the testers Mantus faced died in less then ten minutes. They wouldve died sooner, but Mantus fooled around with them."
"Well, in any case. Be on your guard at all times." Zedge looked back at Ved, then back to me. "Wheres Anze? You travelling and she is not by your side is very unlikely."
"Why do you think i'm travelling in the first place? The Thoth Demon tribe attacked her village while I was away, when I arrived she was gone. And my anger destroyed the entire village."
"So that was your doing..." Lyria slapped me over the head, "You should control your anger better!"
"Well excuse me for not having to share a body with a nicer higher entity. Next time i'll ask him not to share his power with me!"
Zedge chuckled as we fought. He was always peaceful until the time came where he would have to use force, kinda like Ved. Maybe that's why I get along with him so well, he reminded me of my brother, except he was a much wimpier version. (ooc: lol)
"All business and leaving the past where it lays, I think now would be a better time then any to get to know the people that have been travelling with my little brother for so long." Zedge slapped his chestplate, "I'll make sure their worthy to be in my presence." He laughed outloud as he said that, then him and Lyria walked over to Ved, Xenek, and Eve with me following behind.

Night. Vade and Deadra still haven't returned from wherever they are. Zedge and Lyria joined us. At first tI thought that Zedge wanted to fight us when they came over. He definately showed it. But it ended up wanting to have a sparr. So we sparred him. It was fun, just messing around. We haven't done that in a while and it helped me cope with the depression of my friends. Eve seemed more uppity too. Which is good.
It's been about an hour or two after the sparring. We're around a campfire. Cooking some meat that Zedge brought with him. The smell wafted into our nostrils, something good. "What is this meat?" I asked.
"Well it-" he was interrupted by a rumble and a hrrrr.
I spun around, the noise very familiar. A cyan glow came from underneath the debris of the castle. "She's alive..." I whispered. Hazard glanced at me and then looked back.
"What?" He asked.
I shook my head. Rubble began shifting. Something creeped out---
---Eve screamed.
Zedge, Hazard, and Xenek began to take out their weapons. It took a quick survey. Saw the weapons and sprinted on all fours, into the fray.
Everything slowed down in my eyes. I can see the double knives of Zedge, glint in the thin moonlight. His muscles tensing. Hazard's sword arching wide, ready for a vertical slash. Xenek moving in front of his sister. His hands ready for a spell. Everyone ready for the attack.
"Selane, STOP!!" I yelled at the once Kurie, now Seik.
She tilted her head and tried to slid to a stop. But her velocity made her swerve and topple over into the ground. She laid there, breathing heavily. I ran over to her and kneeled beside her.
"Ved! What are you doing! Get away from that thing!" Eve yelled. I ignored her.
Selane looked at me with pleading eyes. Green ichor oozed from underneath some of her scales, mixing with some of her natural hardening liquid. She took a beating protecting me and then the collapse. Hrr... she went. Her eyes asking if I'm alright.
"It's okay. It's over. You don't have to protect me now. They're my friends," I smiled at her. The others arrived. Keeping a safe distance away. Especially Eve. I looked at her, her eyes showing anger and hatred at my once beloved pet. I looked at the yellow eyed. A green tear dropped from the eye and rippled along the scales and joined the ground. Her scales glowing brightly. "This is Selane," I began not bothering looking back up at the group. "She use to be my Kurie. I'm sure you remember them, Hazard. She was trying to protect me. The bond is the only thing she remembered." Selane hrred at this. Softly. Her glow fading with every sentence. "Times have been rough. But go on. Be in peace. Thank you for before... I'll remember you." Another tear rippled down her scales, as did a tear from me. The glow became nothing more then a dim light. "Farewell."
The glow died down completely. The yellow eyes slowly hid behind a thick curtain of it's substance. Then the substance hardened all over it's body. Turning it into a statue. The hardening cracked it. And a puff of dark cyan mist ebbed into the sky. I stood and watched the tendrils lift up, and then mix. The last of Selane, finally leaving.
I then told them all about Selane and how the Kuries transformed into Seiks. And why it didn't attack me. I told the entire story to the others. Hazard like the idea of his Kurie turnign into a Seik and obeying him. I doubt it would be that simple for him, he didn't like his. That caused a bad bond, well limited bond. I put myself next to the fire, to try to warm me up. "Once they get here in the morning and get something to eat we'll go to Kinte." I then closed my eyes and tried to sleep. I thought about it all.
Eve voice cut in the darkness, "I'm sorry." And the timeless sleep consumed me.

OOC: *cracks fingers* Warning: mushiness ahead! Hazard, I suggest you skip this lol! If you have to blame someone, blame Ved, he gave me the idea. xD
Night had fallen and I was extremely tired. We had talked about what happened and I was already feeling a lot better but I felt like collapsing since we had practically been flying around all day.
"Let's stop." I said, not waiting for a reply and flying down into the trees below.
I heard the soft crunch of dry leaves beneath my feet when I landed, but when Vade landed, it was more of a crash. Looking back, I saw him kneeling, an open gash still across his chest. He had been holding it the whole time. It wasn't deep, but he needed help or it would get infected... How could I be so stupid... I walked up to him and pushed him down on the floor, then put my hands over his chest as a white light slowly closed the wound. I stayed silent for a few more seconds, not really knowing what to say or do as I hung my head...
"It's alright." Vade said.
I looked up, he was smiling.
"What?" I asked.
"It's fine... you don't have to apologize."
I blushed, but furrowed my eyebrows. "Who said anything about wanting to apologize!? I have nothing to apologize for!"
"Sure you do!" He spat back, chuckling at the same time.
"Oh so you think it's funny don't you?"
"Well, yeah, look at you! You're blushing!"
"Why are you so irritating!?" I asked in frustration.
"Why are you so stubborn?" He said, now smirking slyly.
"I am NOT stubborn!"
"Of course you are! You know you feel bad for what happened and you don't want to admit it."
I huffed and gave up. Damn it... I hate it when he's right. Sighing, I stood up. "I'm going to get firewood, now if you'll excuse me..."
"You are excused, but I'm gonna help out." He stood up as well.
"Then you go your own way."
"Fine." He said, brushing himself off with his hands.
"Fine." I walked away.
I started away from the clearing , but there was broken branches all around it... I couldn't get far from Vade because he had also found the branches lying around the clearing... which meant he was still in view.
"Well what do you know? Didn't have to go far at all." He said, walking back to the middle of the clearing with several branches in his arms.
"Shame. That way I didn't have to see you and I could be happy, if only for a few minutes." I said in a sarcastic tone, putting my collection of branches on top of his.
He chuckled. "That's not what you said when you kissed me."
Oh, he just LOVED pushing wrong buttons...
My right hand moved toward his face for a slap. He grabbed my wrist with his left and pulled on it, drawing me closer to him.
"And just what the hell do you think you're doing?" I asked, blushing.
"As a matter of fact, I'm gonna kiss you." He said, rolling his eyes at the question.
I glared at him. "You wouldn't dare."
He smirked. "Watch me."
He dared! My eyes opened widely in surprise but as it started sinking in... I started giving in. I closed them and put my arms around his neck. The kiss intensified gradually and what had started off as a tragedy ended in what seemed to me like a fairy tale.
OOC: I decided not to get too descriptive here lol. Might come back and redo this... not too happy with it

I woke up with Deadra in my arms, last night was the beginning of a long relationship. I knew, laying there holding her, that this was true, nothing could tear it apart. She stirred and rubbed her eyes.
"Morning Sunshine." I smiled.
She squinted in the light and laid her head back down on me and mumbled, "Morning, just 5 more minutes." She smiled.
I could have laid there all day and into the next night but I remembered that I told the others that we'd be back. I rustled underneath her, letting her know I was getting up and she sat up too.
"It's morning, the others are probably waiting for us to come back." I stated, as I stretched standing.
"I know, we need to get going right away." We walked to the nearest clearing and took off towards the others.
After about an hour, we saw the camp they had set up and glided into landing. Ved was the first one to see us and he stood.
"About time guys, it took a lot of talking to keep these people from leaving you two and moving on." He informed.
"Sorry, "I looked at Deadra, "Kinda got held up." She blushed.
Ved raised an eyebrow, not needed to ask he laughed. Hazard heard the laugh and joined us and said, "Well sparky all settled now I see." He said, mono-toned.
"Yeah, yeah, sorry 'bout that, heat of the moment kinda thing." I rubbed the back of my head.
Ved interrupted as Hazard was about to start blowing steam and said, "We need to leave, now, we waited too long already."
Hazard huffed and joined Zedge and Lyria, who began packing up stuff and setting out. I quickened my step and caught up to Ved and asked, "So, are we finally almost to this female of your's house?" I smirked.
He ignored the comment and said, "Yeah, we should be there in a few days." Then he went quiet and I knew that was that. We had camp all cleaned up in the next few minutes and we set off on the trial once again.
I walked with Deadra and we took to the back of the group, we talked a lot now, not afraid to hide anything anymore. I learned all about her family, training, and her feelings about losing her home. She learned all about how Ved and I got away from the kingdom, how my sister saved me and about my former famiy.
About two days into the travel, I saw something I thought I'd never see in a million years. Hazard and Zedge and Lyria stayed close the whole time we traveled, talking about the past and the demons and such and such. Then, Zedge had started telling a story that I couldn't quite here but at the ending Hazard began laughing histerically. Everyone stopped, stunned. Eve, who had been in a sad mood for quite some time, even managed to raise an eyebrow. Ved stood jaw-on-the-floor style and I did the same. After laughing for about 15 seconds he stopped and saw everyone looking at him.
"What're yous looking at?!" He yelled, hiding embarrisment with his usual rage.
Everyone just starred for a second and then Eve spoke, "You can laugh??" She questioned, jokingly.
"Of course I can!" He roared, "You people are just so boring that I never had reason to." He stated.
"Riiiiiight," I started, "We have to remember, that joke was probably about how an enemy demon's head was chopped off and fell on top of another one, knocking him out, or something like that." I said as I ducked a small energy blast he shot my way.
Ved started laughing, "Yeah, haha, Good to see Hazard does have at least a little human left in him though." He joked.
"You're both asking for it." He stated.
That was about the only excitement we got in the next couple days of travel. We went on for another day or two and set up camp. Ved said we would arrive soon, another day or two.
