Thanks to the hard work of the members on Spira's Destiny, a list of the PSone games not fully compatible with the PS3 have recently become available. The full list is below.
Final Fantasy Anthology: If you reach first save point on CD 1 (FF5), play freezes.
Final Fantasy Chronicles: Some texture problems and flickering on the FF4-CD.
Final Fantasy Origins: When you enter a random batle, the brightness degree changes.
Final Fantasy VII: A flickering black square over the character appears during the battles in the Mako Reactor on CD1. This is the only place so where there this is known to happen.
Final Fantasy VIII: When you start a random battle on the World-map, some of the screen goes black - the rest of the screen is buggy.
Final Fantasy IX: Any time the camera pans, whether ingame or during FMVd, 4 transparent lines appear on the the screen.
Firmware updates will be available through the PS3's online service, which means that all of things bugs will be fixed in time - the main question is "how long will that be?"
